IMO, if you are 18 or under, and you actually try when making/wearing a costume, you are fine.

Agreed, but something I find odd, a lot of cities are postponing tick-or-treating until the weekend because of the hurricane.  I mean, yeah, safety first, but somewhat strange to tick-or-treat on a day other that Halloween.

I got tired of trick-or-treating a couple of years ago. Sure, it was fun for me earlier, but I'm not terribly interested in spending the time/money to make/buy a costume just for candy. Don't argue about experiences either, nobody I know lives close enough that would go with me, so it would just be me with my sister's friends, or alone, which isn't all that appealing.

If you old enough to buy candy yourself, you really shouldn't be trick-or-treating. Dressing up and going to parties is fine though.

what's the problem with trick-or-treating?? You guys are making me feel like a lamewad for going out trick-or-treating with my friends >_>
