I really don't know if I should be arranging by ear as my first arrangement... then again as a beginner I hardly know what I'm doing then clicking in notes and being, "I THINK this note sounds right..."

@ Nebbles that's really all I do too. Hum the note and find it on the keyboard (I use a virtual one for simplicity). Then count it out to find the duration of the note.

You should skype one of us! You can have a walkthrough session haha

You can ask us all you want, but you'll never learn anything unless you just get your hands dirty and try it out for yourself. That's honestly the best way. It takes hard work.
