Genes definitely come into play. I only have glasses cause my dad had them and I needed them before I ever started playing video games/using the computer lol.

I only use glasses if my eyes hurt. I love reading small text, but after a long day and I'm feeling pretty shitty (like now), I put on some weak reading glasses to aid the strain on my eyes

4/5 in my family has glasses. Dad just got them lately and he's 56 years old. I got mine when I was 13. I rather use contacts D: these so nerdy.

Everyone in my family wears glasses, except for the ones that were married in, but their children still do.

No glasses for me :p  My brother though wears contacts and my dad had laser surgery to correct his vision as he used to wear glasses.
