Yeah voicing was a bit weird in this tune. The highest voice wasn't always the most prominent.

Quote from: DekuTrombonist on March 27, 2013, 04:26:33 PMYeah it moves up through the interval cycle of minor thirds (G min, Bb, Db(written C#) and then I forget what it does).

No I'm not putting a key change. You don't need it to indicate key, only to remove accidentals. And then I'd have to work out exactly where else it changes key because it doesn't stay in Bb for that long. The piece is still in G anyway, it just moves.

Fair enough.

SlowPokemon

In my opinion key signature should always indicate key, but again that's my opinion. It's fine if you don't want to change it.

Fuck logic, that shit is boring, lame and does not always support my opinions.

Jompa

If a song changes key signature too frequently, it might be a pain to actually read and play it though.

DonValentino

Personally, I'd love to see a replacements for "Pokewalker" and "Pinna Park". Specially "Pinna Park", it's a shame that such a wonderful song has such a poor arrangement.

But if someone else wants some other song more, I wouldn't mind. :)

TheZeldaPianist275

Man, Musical Toxin is NOT the best arranger we've seen here. >_>

Deku, you know me, I'd be happy with any of the Zelda songs on there.  I think JD is doing TP Staff Roll, and Dusk did SS's, but it's only one piano.  And we DESPERATELY need a new arrangement of OoT's.

Oh, god..

Well, Deku, you listed Brinstar:
If you can't find motivation for any of the songs, you could just do the easiest of them - Brinstar - now, why is that the easiest one? Well, basically because I already arranged it, so it would be extremely easy to just exploit my arrangement for help and inspiration.
Just a suggestion
^I should mention; almost all of my key changes are stupid, so screw them.

I have an unfinished arrangement of my own for this lying around somewhere. I can take it off your hands, if you'd like.

Sounds great! How will performers hit the left hand in measures 23 and 24 though?
