Just because the pokemon mentioned has "slow" in it's name, it doesn't mean it actually is slow!

Slowpoke, Pokedex entries:

Incredibly slow and dopey. It takes 5 seconds for it to feel pain when under attack.

Incredibly slow and sluggish. It is quite content to loll about without worrying about the time.

It catches prey by dipping its tail in water at the side of a river. But it often forgets what it is doing and spends entire days just loafing at water's edge.

I think that's enough evidence.

In general, yes. However, my own cat at home is a stupid piece of shit. He'll wake me up in the middle of the night asking for food, then I get to his bowl and it's full. and he's just like "oh, nevermind" and starts eating.

Not to mention, he doesn't know how to drink water. He used to occasionally drink water from the faucet when we had it running, and at first we were like "haha look, our cat's so silly." But then he decided that was pretty nice, and now he just asks for water from the faucet all the time, even though we haven't given it to him for like 10 years, and his full water bowl is RIGHT THERE NEXT TO THE GODDAMN SINK. /endrant
