It wasn't painful in the least. I like challenges.

For me, it wasn't challenging- it was absolutely frustrating and unwieldy. E.g. "Want to go down this path? Too bad! Turbine time!"

Try the demo first. I think it is good, but MH is definitely not for everyone.

Just beat Mega Man 3 for the first time, and I don't know why some people think 2 is better. This game was fantastic.

I think 2 is better than 3 because 2 doesn't have the Doc Robot stages and 2's a much easier and free flowing game.

I finished Investigations. Pretty good. Easily the best case in the game.

Oh, and I finally finished Xenoblade Chronicles

Investigations 1 was overall a kind of weak game but I loved the last case a LOT. I'll be replaying it soon since I finished the trilogy yesterday.
