I used a traded Gengar with Mean Eyes (I just used it to fight with Jasmine, cause the game barely gives you time between Chuck and Jasmine to train (cause I beat all the trainers and all on the water routes to Cianwood))

Yes, but even with Mean Look, Entei still knows Roar...
And even though my Snorlax used Block (same as Mean Look) Roar still blew me away. T.T

Was that supposed to work?

I still caught Entei and Raikou, but it took me longer than it should have.

it didnt use roar... i was able to weaken it pretty quickly and then it just attacked

Oh, not so lucky then. Raikou was ALWAYS my favorite of the three, ever since I played Silver in third grade. <3

Raikou was probably my least favorite (im not a huge fan of electric pokémon except for the Ampharos and the Luxray lines)

Suicune was probably my favorite (and this was before crystal)... and I played G/S in 3rd grade, too... (but that's when they came out in 2000)

I played Silver with my friends (one of them had Gold) in 2003. We played them in our Game Boy Advances.

well i played them on Gameboy Colors! (i still have both of mine) and did mystery gift transfers of stuff using the infared ports on them!

The only Nintendo events I've ever attended were the Pikachu-colored Pichu and Jirachi handouts back in February/March.
