Time Signatures

In the Mt. Moon theme from pkmnRB, it is very difficult for me to figure out where the time is in the second half of the song.  I attempted to get some of the changes near the end.  Could someone take a look and maybe give me some insight? [MUS]

I have to say, you did a really good arrangement for Mt.Moon, the time signatures did look right to me, the only part that probably needed a different time signature was in the end when it went into 7/8, I think it would be better in 4/4 to me. But thats completely up to you.

I put that in 7/8 because there is one less eighth note before going back into the original bass line rhythm.  I know it all fits in the 4/4, but I can't help but get the feeling that the original composers had something else in mind.  There are so many times when I wish I could ask them questions directly.
