Yeah, right.

Taking a shower after shaving my face hurts like hell. Can't imagine that would be any different.

I shower every day. Its seemed to stop itchy by itself, but touching it is painful..and prickly.

Are you using acid raid for your water then?
If he is, it is recommended he switch to chocolate rain. Some will stay dry but other will feel the pain.

Pour a mound of salt onto it, yes, it will burn like wholly hell, but it's worth it. You have to let it bleed out and go numb after that for it to go away.
