Anyhoo...
I love racing my brother on the pkmn league. I did it yesterday.

Here's the standards - my team is level 68 (Meganium) - 70. I have the advanced, level 75, six-Pokemon-in-every-trainer elite four.
His team is level 47-50. He has the level 50, five-Pokemon league.

I was behind the whole race until he got stuck on Lance's Dragonite. I won!
Then he actually lost... which he's never done before. He's beaten it like four times.

And he FINALLY got started on his Kanto badges!

Typically Pokemon games take me about a week to beat... (with full team)
I took my time with SoulSilver because I wanted to make it last. It took me about 2 1/2 - 3 weeks to beat Red. I couldn't help going at least a BIT fast...

I'm taking it slow, really training my Pokémon, making them strong instead of breezing through like I usually do

So I re-restarted my HeartGold. I felt guilty because of all the starters

I'm going to start with Totodile. That little guy is so adorable, second only to Chikorita in the Johto starters.

But you all knew I'd pick Chikorita if it was the ugliest thing in the world.

Are you kidding?? Cyndaquil is the best of them all!! haha, that's cause its my favorite starter, though Squirtle is my favorite Pokémon (just not starter... i had to give the title to something else)

I now know why that guy gives you the miracle seed after violet city, so that if you have a Chikorita or another grass Pokémon, you can have more of an advantage (cause 6 gyms in Johto are strong against grass types and their moves)

... and I'm officially leaning towards Tsutaja over Pokabu

Hooray! Maybe in this game I'll actually train to Claire's level before I battle her...

I did!! That's why it took me so long to get to her (about 22 hours of playing time... and about two of those were lost at Voltorb Flip, but at least I have a Lv 43 Dragonair now!)

You can get a Jirachi from Nintendo WFC in Mystery Gift... but it ends today (maybe this is old news, but i just found about it today)
