Ugh. I forgot to figure out the instrumentation for this thing I'm writing for full orchestra. So, I figure out the instrumentation, and this is what came out:
4 Flutes (3rd doubles Piccolo, 4th doubles Alto Saxophone in Eb)
3 Oboes
English Horn
3 Clarinets in Bb (3rd doubles Clarinet in Eb)
Bass Clarinet
3 Bassoons
4 Horns in F
3 Trumpets in C
3 Tenor Trombones (3rd doubles Euphonium)
4 Timpani (One player)
Harp
Celesta
16 Violins 1
14 Violins 2
10 Violas
10 Cellos
8 Double Basses

... I don't think this quite works out. Any suggestions?

What's this for and what do mean by double flutes and such?

Some suite I'm writing.
The doubling means that the same person plays two or more instruments during a piece. For example, in this, 3rd flute plays both flute and piccolo. (not at the same time) It's meant to have to pay less people and to avoid said people not doing anything.
