Title: LAFS
Instrumentation Solo Piano
Arranger: Static39

This is a beautiful little piano solo!

m27 b4.5 RH - I hear a C instead of a D
m28 b1 RH - I don't hear the D in this chord

Also, this one is more of a personal preference, but I feel like it would look nicer if in m10, m13/14, m15/16, m17/18, m19/20, and their counterparts in m21-40 had the notes tied over into the rests. Maybe not all of them would be nice that way, but a lot of the time it seems like they are held but very faint by the time the rests come up, and many lead in "gramatically"? "tonally"? phrase-wise into the following notes.

I actually had it that way originally, but couldn't make up my mind about the note lengths.
I'm not positive about m10/m30, but after listening again it does sound like those are held so I went ahead and changed those as well as the others.

Thanks for the feedback!

Yay, super happy to see you submitting! :D

I assume the track title is from this album? No "~Love At First Sight" in the official title?

A couple small pieces of feedback:
- I think the Ab in m. 10 would be better off as a G#, and similarly for C# in m. 30. Those pitches resolve up to A and D respectively in the following measure
- I don't hear any indication that the D written in the RH of m. 14 is part of the melody? Doesn't sound particularly louder than the other LH notes

I think extending the note durations rather than writing rests is good for this piece. You can try to listen closely for the delay in the original, but on a piano with pedal it won't make much of a difference, so it's fine to fill in the space to match the style.

The in-game music player has it as simply "LAFS" as does the official soundtrack CD so that's what I went with.
I'm not entirely sure where the "~Love At First Sight" part came from although I suspect it may be in-game dialogue.

I actually do hear this D as a little louder although my primary reasoning is because I felt like it was the same melody as in m. 34.
If I'm the only one who hears it though I'm fine with removing it.

Ah, I didn't notice that! Yes, that makes sense.

Looks good to me! Have an emphatic approval :D

What a lovely little piece! My only comment is that I think you could add the D pickup to the final measure on beat 3, and place a repeat after the pickup in m1. This is partly so that the performer doesn't have to look back at the first page to realize there's a pickup, but also because the way you have it right now implies that there are 4 beats before the loop, whereas I hear it as just a slow 3.

I'm a little confused about where the 4 beats before the loop would be coming from (the last measure was only 2 beats to accommodate for the pickup), but I agree that the repeat would help readability and have updated accordingly.  :)

Oh I didn't even notice the last measure was shortened lol, the lack of a timesig change there threw me. The repeat looks great, but looking at the sheet now I'm noticing that you have the page size set at 120%, was that intentional? I think it looks a bit cramped (the second page especially), and would benefit from being resized to 100%. You can do this with the Resize tool by clicking on any blank space in the margins of the sheet. Doing this messes up the spacing a bit on the 4th and 6th systems, for the 4th you can change it back with the Page Layout tool by right clicking the upper left box on the system, selecting "Edit margins," and copy-pasting the "Bottom" value from the 3rd system. For the 6th, you can just use the Staff tool and drag it until it looks right.

This actually was intentional. I was playing with the resize since it looked a tad bit small after printing, but I failed to notice how cramped it made the second page especially.

Everything should be correctly scaled at 100% now.
I personally think the system distribution looks a little nicer this way as well.

Radiak488417

Looks great! Yeah the system distribution wasn't the issue, just the spacing between them, which it looks like you've corrected. Great work, and congrats on your first accepted sheet!
