There are no nights. The special thing about this setup is it theoretically has a perfect 50-50 shot of each faction winning.

I know it has no nights. I'm just saying that with 8 people, one lynch means there are 6 people left. If the lynched couple is both town, then it's 4 town and 2 wolves left, meaning wolves make up 50% of town. And since half of the pairs are town/town, that's a 50% chance town loses from the first lynch.

Wolves know each others identities yes, and there will be a wolfchat. Keep in mind that it will be impossible for the wolves to be each other's lovers.
