I think there are notes on the 4th beat in the LH measures 1,3,5,7 which you've missed.

Those notes are the same notes that are being played in the right hand, so I can't include them as another distinct note.

Hmm, you may be right.

Nope, they're the same.

  • These are now required on all sheets.
  • Sheets should have, as a minimum, at least an opening dynamic marking. Obviously more would be preferable.
Mezzo-piano is probably most fitting.

To be consistent, you should probably hold the melody note in m. 4, beat 1 for two beats instead of just one.

Also, the header info feels a bit cramped all together. Try to space it out a little more. You got the whole page at your disposal, after all. Just make sure it is even though, as I noticed now that the composer info and the arranger info have uneven spacing between them.

The problem is, the left hand plays a staccato note that would conflict with that. To account for that, I notated it so that the right hand would release first.

If consistency would be necessary, I could change that, but I think it would make the articulation ambiguous.

Oh, thanks for pointing that out. Personally, I would put priority on the melody by using the sustain pedal for just that one single beat, but your way is just as valid.
