Currantly, I'm arranging the dennis Ghetsis battle theme from Pokemon B/W, but when I change it from timpani, it sounds weird.

[MUS]

Here is the MUS version, notice how it sounds almost exactly like the original.

And here it is transposed to piano, but now the notation sounds different, and nothing at all like the original.

Is this something I should worry about?

(also, C+C on what I have so far is appreciated.)

The Deku Trombonist

They're Db's, not D naturals.

If it makes no difference to the Key Signature, would you mind writing C# instead of Db? His name's actually a musical reference in Japanese (G-Cis), and his battle song reflects that since the Timpani part plays G and Cis (another name for C#).

Try to do everything; you're bound to succeed with at least one.

Yep. Junichi Masuda's commentary on the piece is really interesting. His name in Japanese is G-Cis (or G-Csharp, like his theme music).

Fuck logic, that shit is boring, lame and does not always support my opinions.
