Hi! I was wondering if anyone knows about a good VST, a Piano Duet one to be more accurate.

I'm using Pianissimo right now, it's good ok? but it's more for piano solo.

By "VST" I'm going to assume you mean music notation program.
Everything I would say to that I've already said here.

"Steinberg's Virtual Studio Technology (VST) is an interface for integrating software audio synthesizer and effect plugins with audio editors and hard-disk recording systems."

It's basically another way for a program to produce sound that is generally higher quality than MIDI or something.

Right.

Well, Maestro uses a neat thing known as Garritan. It can come with finale if you pay a little extra.
I'm not quite sure how it works exactly, but he comes out with stuff that sounds live.

You get some Garritan sounds free, you don't have to pay extra. Of course you could purchase more libraries from Garritan if you decide to.

I personally don't use the Steinway Piano sound.

I use a USB MIDI Cable and plug it into my keyboard and it plays via MIDI Out.
