I've pulled up PDF's on my iPod several times when I need a reminder of a sheet that I have gotten too lazy to print out. Most commonly I've used PDF's from Wicked to play off of and adjust the screen as necessary.

Who'd want to read sheet music off of a screen that small anyways.

Don't forget iPads. Also, you can pinch and zoom, it's not really a problem. And its not only that people are too lazy - it's the fact that you can do it from anywhere in your house/apartment.
