I have a quick question: I am using musescore to make compositions, but they don't allow metronome (sorry if it is mispelled). Is there another free program I could use, or do you know how I can add a metronome with musescore? thanks

Greg

Finale is what's used on this website.

There are a bunch of free trials of it, but after those are finished Notepad's 10 bucks.

Musescore will give you the wrong format, but people might convert for you...

Hm. I guess i'll need to partner with others that have the right program to make compositions, although I'm going to be busy during the next two months anyways. by then i'll have the money to buy that program. Thanks gzgregory.

Sorry for double posting.

Anyways, how come I only get a limited number of lines (or whatever you call them) with MuseScore?

Measures? By default it gives you 12 measures. To insert measures, go to Create -> Measures -> Append Measures. Keyboard shortcut is CTRL+SHIFT+B, from there you can choose how many measures to add.
