Wow, first few months on the job have flown by, can't believe I finally get to see the updating console room!

...boy, it's dusty in here. And what a mess! Half-finished sheet music, overturned monkey cages, broken seashells... whoever was last in here must have left in a hurry.

Oh, and the window's broken too, lovely.  Wait, is that... a meteorite embedded in the floor? It's still smoldering... There's something written on it:

...Could this be the cause of all this devastation?

fun fact: my sheet was in submissions longer than the game its from lasted (unfortunately it was due to reasons entirely out of the creator's control, the server hosting service they used shut down suddenly and they had already put way too much time into the game and so decided they'd come back to it in the future)

The staff is still working on support for other types of notation files. The Updaters and/or Code Monkeys might be able to give a bit of a better idea on the timeline of that.
