Kecleon May Return?
After a long thinking process I may want to return. Still don't know. However, I'll try to regain my materials today. Sad thing is, I had most of my works on my old computer. Meaning the "in progress" will be back to reserved for me. Also ill just do all the little things for this OST, like the very short motif stuffs (starting out of course), whilst working on the first thing I was going to submit "Awakening the Ancient Pokémon"

I don't think it's a problem if two people arrange the same songs. Indeed, it would be more useful for new arrangers to start on simple songs that others have already arranged as they practice at arranging. Perhaps they could even cross reference their arrangements with the old one to determine their weaknesses.

I dislike the attitude that NSM has towards people doing multiple arrangements of the same song. OK yes, the better arrangement will reach the site, but that does not in anyway diminish the other arrangement or its arranger in anyway.

Awwww don't feel too bad Clanker37; for such a long song like Sky Tower, your version is pretty good... And, by all means, feel free to use my arrangement for a reference if you want; your awesome solo arrangement paired alongside with my piano duet for submission sounds like a good plan eh? 

I just waltzed into NSM all high and mighty, but still, you didn't take offense at my debut arrangement being Sky Tower, reason being:
1.) You're nice like that
...more importantly, I believe, it is because...
2.) I had a duet while you had a solo

You got the experience of re-evaluating your sheet from looking at mine, but you also kept the dignity of knowing that you had a unique arrangement to offer, a completely different entity from my own rendition.

That's what I'd like for Kecleon; to get the experience he needs, but also the dignity of creating something unique. Not for my sake or the sake of my arrangement monopoly (which ultimately is worth nothing), but for his own sense of worth and contribution. And I'm willing to help provide that experience, because he deserves that.
