Request / [MUL] Deltarune (Chapter 2) - Dialtone

We love a bit of Kromer. This song seems to use a World Revolving motif in there with a slow undertone similar to The Circus. Not sure if I have any ear for it.

Off-Topic / Popularity Poll
March 25, 2020, 06:55:39 PM
Welcome, all, to a mega poll.

This poll is mainly to gauge the variety of interests we have here on NSM. I want to see what you guys think.

Things to consider:

You can vote up to 15 series, and you can change your vote.
The "Other" category has been excluded. Why? This is the catch-all for underrepresented series. Series with better representation already have a subcategory. If you want to vote for your favorite "Other" series, leave a comment on the thread.
What, to you, has a fun or iconic track, arrangement, or composition?
What has a good soundtrack?
What has an easy-to-learn arrangement?
Where might your favorite series fall?
What's rewarding to learn and play?
Which series has the worst to arrange or worst to play?
Which series can account for all skill levels?
What's an iconic game series represented best here?
What's a fan-favorite among arrangers?

With those things in mind, thank you in advance for filling out the poll!

This theme plays when you usually load up Breath of the Wild on the Wii U. The Wii U was notorious for these transition screens with graphics and unique sound to accompany them. Though this theme bares similarities to Breath of the Wild's multiple shrine themes (Shrine of Trials & Blessing Shrine), it's definitely missing a lot of the instrumentation and is a much shorter loop.

New sections! New Xeno section (which I somehow missed from the last update)! I love this more than I did at surface level now, mobile is definitely my cup of tea.

The iconic wrists are no more though.

Site News / Re: New art for the main site?

Quote from: Bobbythekid21 on March 13, 2019, 08:41:35 AMThis is kinda how I feel about it, it would look weird if we got a new logo but everything else looked the same. It's like having a house where the kitchen is completely remodeled and looks really modern but the rest of the house just looks really old. I am NOT saying that the site as it is now looks bad, I'm just comparing "new kitchen-old house" to "new logo-old site" so you get my point.
An all or nothing?

Quote from: E. Gadd Industries on March 13, 2019, 07:17:41 AMHmmm... I think new art could be cool, but I also really like what we have. Perhaps have a way to keep both and choose which version you want to see? Is that a thing?

Like Google Chrome Themes? I'd almost like to see that.

What are the dimension limitations (width by height)? I noticed in the last banner thread that the original creator noted something was cropped off. I'd want the clarification to avoid such a thing if possible.

Is the original contest thread still around?
I didn't even know the second pair of hands until now. Always thought it was Link to round out the series.

Should another contest be held then?

Feedback / Main Site Art
March 11, 2019, 10:03:38 PM
I was wondering how old the art on main site was.

I'm not sure if I want to ask for it to be replaced or if a user could submit something to throw up there, so I'll ask both.
I've just never seen anything said about it.

If the site art were to be changed, is it purely a decision among bigger heads (and has it been brought up before?), or would a regular be allowed to submit something in suggestion to replace it, left up to a vote perhaps?

Banjo-Kazooie - Mad Monster Mansion (Church)'s files all seem to read or to be set at 100 BPM. The actual soundtrack song clocks in at 90 BPM.
The difference isn't earth-shatteringly different to me, but it is noticeable when played side-by-side. Is it worth correcting?
