Messages - Xiang A. Wuu

I heard out my school district was hiring school bus drivers and if a person landed the job and they were in college, the tuition fee and all would be covered by them. I decided to apply and everything went well. Today, I'm going to take my CDL permit test today to become a school bus driver.

I'm going to have to take the General Knowledge, Passenger+School Bus Endorsement, and the Air Brakes test and I'm kinda scared...

Just a friendly banter. Nothing personal.

Honestly, it never clicked with me. I never understood my friends who played Pokemon. Catching some weird monster/creature hybrid....no thank you. :)

Help! / Re: How can I become a better arranger?

Thank you guys so much for answering.

Before I asked this question, I was worried because I wouldn't know how you guys would react to someone so noobish.

Thank you for your answers. You've given me the little push I need to start arranging. Many thanks.

Help! / How can I become a better arranger?
July 31, 2016, 10:11:32 PM
Let's face it. Some of your arrangements are phenomenon and I am awed by how many notes are in a single page in some of your arrangements. For me personally, I can discern what notes are being played on Youtube and I can copy it down to Finale, but the main problem for me is the dynamics and articulations. I don't know how to understand time signature well, when to add the slurs, and all those fancy shenanigans. :(

How do you become better at arranging? Any tips will be appreciated.

And for practicing, how can I get better at arranging when I don't know what I'm doing. Do you guys have a professional or a mentor to help you out?

Thanks and sorry if this is asking too much.

Thanks once more guys!

E. Gadd, thanks! Boo's are kinda adorable, ya know? Yeah, I'm weird like that. I don't understand the hate Sticker Star gets. I mean, compared to the first three, it falls a bit short, but still, I enjoyed the game nonetheless. Whenever a game gets thrown out, and there is a sequel, people will always compare to the past games. I try not to do that or else I'll become disappointed. I just enjoy the games for what they bring.

And medley wise, I'm working on Rawk Hawk's song. Really fun to play on the drums and elec. ;)

Slow Pokemon, I've heard of the games and have seen quite a few "Objection!" memes. Hmm, I'll try giving it it a go! Thanks for the suggestion! :D

And Sebastion, thank you very much. I try! :)

Can't wait to start having fun. Any recommendations on where to start? I've never tried arranging before and I only scratch the surface on music theory. Performance wise, my piano skills aren't that great either.
