Quote from: DonValentino on December 30, 2015, 12:27:38 PMIt just caught my attention lol
The solution I offered back then was simply adding slurs, and it looks perfectly fine.

I might just do that!

Quote from: Olimar12345 on December 30, 2015, 10:59:14 AMThe forwards repeat bar at the beginning is unnecessary and can be removed. Would you mind turning all quarter notes that appear on the upbeat of two into two eighth notes tied together?
Thanks for the feedback. I do believe that I weeded them all out, and I got rid of that forwards repeat. Would you like me to do the same to any quarters on the "and" of beat one?

Quote from: DonValentino on December 30, 2015, 12:06:01 PMDo you really consider the "don't emphasize the grace notes" text necessary?
Thank you! I guess I just put that there because the grace notes on the piano sound much more "artificial" compared to the scoops from the synth in the recording, and due to the large amount of scoops, it sounds a little comical :P I can definitely take that out though!

Any thoughts? I think I have all the fonts and such correct now. If anyone sees any rhythm errors I can change them. The 2 parts in the LH don't often line up, so I turned many appropriate dotted quarters into eighths tied to quarters. I could change the rhythm in measures 11, 19, and 21 to end into dotted quarters with staccato-tenuto markings if that would help for reading, or leave them if they are okay as is. Hope to hear back :) have a good day.

Quote from: BrainyLucario on December 29, 2015, 04:18:22 PMI need measures 1-8 LH changed to treble clef. as well as measures 13-16.

I also need to know how I can put in the copyright symbol...

Hello :) I did as you asked, but the notes in the LH in M1-8 and 13-16 fit much nicer in Bass clef then in Treble, so why exactly did you want them in treble? (in fact they are much to low now). Did you maybe mean to ask for the LH in treble clef AND an octave up? Anyways, you have a copyright symbol at the bottom of the page. I can also paste one here if that helps. © Also, you're arrangement is written in A major, however the song is in E. It is however in E mixolydian, so A major is technically correct, but it would normally be written in E major with any D given a natural, to imply the common minor sevenths. Just message me or leave another post if you would like any more help, and I hope I did help. Happy holidays.

Quote from: Olimar12345 on December 27, 2015, 09:48:32 PMFeedback:

-You have a couple stray "Pno." texts wandering around on the upper-right side of the first page, those need to go.
-The site URL should have the capital letters in it: http://www.ninsheetmusic.org/
-You have a rhythm-grouping error in measure 27, RH, layer 1. Make that dotted quarter note unto an eighth tied to a quarter.
-Over all, it can be hard to read this arrangement. you often have really low treble clef, really high bass clef, and odd hand changes. Try experimenting with cross-staff placements.

Thanks for the feedback, I tried making a couple upgrades. I could not see these "Pno." texts, but hopefully they are gone now. I capitalized the URL letters. Fixed the rhythm error in M27. As for reading the arrangement, I see it maybe being a little hard at first. This is most often due to the very close pitches between the ostinatos and melody, and I made a few changes to accommodate this. I fixed up some more sketchy stuff in the last section. As for extreme clef ranges, I added a 8va at what was the highest LH F clef area (M21), and am assuming that you refer to the low notes in the G clef LH at M7? If those are an issue I could write them an octave lower in bass clef with an 8va.. but I would think they are okay seeing as how all the "lower" notes are a perfect octave below the upper note in that hands dyad? If not I can change it! Thanks again

Quote from: BrainyLucario on December 26, 2015, 12:26:17 PMI need someone to help me replace the regular second voice notes in m8 and m12 with grace notes.
Here is the link to the .mus file
Click Me!

I think I have done what you asked, in getting rid of the second layer and replacing those notes with grace notes from the first layer.

Hello, and happy holidays. I am new here and not sure how this all works. I tried arranging it for you, and am including the .mus (along with .mid), and pdf files for the sheet here.
I hope you enjoy, and have a good day.
