Draft: [GBA] "Hotel Yado" - Mother 3

Finale Musescore

Need help in getting correct notes with the sixteenth note part in "2nd" ending part thing. Some parts in "B" section sound slightly off. I guess this would be considered a duet.

Some errors in previous submissions (like Castlevania III should be NES) and I'll get to uploading the revised version of the bottles' picture game when I have the time.

So what are we supposed to do after we get feedback on our submissions? Fix it up and stuff?

Work in Progress
-Intended to be a duet, but needs "balancing out" on both parts.
-May be missing some harmonies or whatnot
-Don't know how to fix time signature in measure 5-6. Nevermind, figured it out, will upload later.
-Might have to change melody/treble clef beaming to have 4 eighth notes per beam instead of 3 to match up with bass line pulse (if that's the right term).

[N64] Banjo-Kazooie - "Bottles' Picture Game" [MUS] [MID] [PDF]

Deku: The bass notes and chords aren't all right

LonelyHaven: I only fixed the measure 5 (and similar) bass line (as that was the only error I heard so far).
Added tempo marking and formatting.

Deku: The second 2 chords in bar 5 are C/Bb not D/Bb. A couple of enharmonic spelling things in the Gb Major section but I'll fix em when I get around to getting Finale 2012.

Any chance you could do something about the overlapping parts in bar 21 (and where it comes back)? Same thing with the end of bar 31.

PDF  MUS  MID

LonelyHaven:  Ah yeah, I missed that. Thanks. So are there any more bass line/chord errors? I can try to give another listen when I have time.

The only solution for the overlapping was that I put everything in the right hand an octave higher...not sure what else I could do except omit some notes or only bring the "overlapping" notes up an octave. Whichever one is fine/better, I'll work on fixing that and post that.

For enharmonic spellings, I believe that for measure 31, in the bass line, the enharmonic spelling for Eb/B♮ should be Eb/Cb, and Db/Bb should be Db/Cbb? (that's all I'm sure about, haven't looked at the other enharmonic spellings).

Olimar:
-Lots if weird beaming going on in this piece-though beaming the 16th notes in beat one with the 8th notes of beat two isn't incorrect, I feel that it would look nicer if they weren't beamed together.
-What's with the repeated accidentals? They last the whole measure, yet most of them are rewritten for every note... that needs to be fixed.
-Measure numbers are missing.
-When the melody goes into thirds at measure 33, the chords need to stay in thirds. (i.g. measure 34-those B naturals need to be Cb's)

LonelyHaven:
Mostly everything should be fixed. I was able to number everything in Musescore, but not when I imported it to finale notepad. I'd appreciate some help with that. Also, let me know if anything else still needs fixing.

I was thinking it would be played with the right hand  (though it's pretty difficult)...I'll try to think about it.

OK, yeah, that makes sense.

Just want to make sure...if you have a pickup measure, do the beats in the last measure and the pickup measure have to add up to the time signature value?

Also, would you recommend the stem for the harmony to be up or down? (I changed it to point down).

Fixed Earthbound Hotel with pickup measure and split up treble clef so the accompanying harmony can be optional. (Needs formatting edits...will do that later)

(See later post)

-Question about pickup measure. I was thinking of having an eighth note pick up, but is that allowed (in 4/4 time...are quarter note beat pickups only allowed?)?

Ugh, looks like mediafire updated their site, so my files are deleted. I guess dropbox is a good alternative? Any other sites you guys would recommend?

Tried to play "Big battle" and noticed some LH parts are pretty much impossible to play...will edit that later.

Updated
[MUS]
[MUSESCORE]
[MIDI]

Remarks:
-Added some part to last measure right hand (and corresponding measure in first part)
-Glissando in measures 3 and 21 are notated weirdly in Finale in left hand.
-Measure 13-15 and similar areas (page 2, starts second measure in Finale): Not sure if left hand should start with the G and then alternate, or start with the triad and then alternate.
-Needs to be formatted properly.
-Don't know if I should add an "ending" (maybe victory theme thingy) at end so it doesn't end like a cliffhanger?

Like beats 1 and 2 have a diminuendo, and then beats 3 and 4 have a crescendo.

Wow, thanks for fixing it. It sounds much better.

I would like to add the accompanying "C#, C, B, C" part to the bass line, but that would be very annoying to play I think (regardless of which octave it's placed in).

At measure 6 (about 9-10 seconds in), I hear one "G#B" instead of "F#A" (left hand). That's something to check.

The ending part with the crescendos, I'd like to add the diminuendos for half the measure right before the crescendo...anyway to do that?

Other than that, the revision is great. Thanks a bunch.

Just wondering, what are those "metal abrasions" called anyway, lol?

Draft Revision:
[NES] "Fireman" - Megaman
On-site [MUS]

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIHh0no7pVs
[MUSESCORE]
[MUS]

Remarks:
-Ignores the "metal abrasion" sounds
-measure 1: hard to tell what notes are
-I feel that maybe the time signature is wrong since the bass line "F#, F, E, F" thing does not match up correctly. (Some form of x/8? Bassline is slightly faster than a quarter note in original if in 4/4)
-In order for repeat to work, need to have repeats and stuff similar to the on-site version if time signature is correct.
-Decrescendos/Crescendos need to be fixed in ending part.
