[N64] Banjo-Tooie - "In the Hall of the Zombie King" (Replacement) - MoldyPond ZIP

I noticed after this was accepted before that a few chords were wrong, and the first measure didn't have the right hand part.

Then why are you even here?
#3
Never mind. I found another chord problem. I'll just wait 'til the next update to put it as a replacement.

By the way, I already fixed my sheet, and I can upload it if that's ok (even though I know submissions are closed).

One thing I noticed (I know submissions are closed) is that on one of my previous uploads "In the Hall of the Zombie King" from Banjo-Tooie, is that the first two left hand chords on the sheet are G,C,D sharp, then F,G sharp,F. I just found out that the second chord is actually G sharp,C,F. Also, the 9th measure left hand part is supposed to be the same as the 5th measure, but on the sheet it isn't. I was wondering if you could possibly fix these (minor) problems in the update?

Mine still hasn't even been looked over yet :(

Well thankfully there's no real deadline on this update, so take all the time you need good sir.

MoldyPond: Woot! :D

So are the admins like super busy or something? There hasn't been an update to this since January 21st.

[GBC] The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Seasons - "Sea of No Return/Skull Pirate Departure"  - MoldyPond
Status: Accepted

Deku: This could do with some staccatos, especially the bits with 16ths followed by 16th rests. They could be re-written as staccato 8ths and it looks much better and sounds the same. As well as some other notes around the place.

MoldyPond: Hehe, I think I may have gone a bit overboard on the staccatos, but I think it sounds better now.

Deku: Nah, that's not overboard, nowhere near it  ;) Good job

[GB] Metroid II: Return of Samus - "Metroid Hatchling Theme" - MoldyPond
Status: Accepted

Deku: Rhythms could do with a little cleaning up, eg in measure 8 the quarter note needs to be two 8ths tied together because of the time signature.

MoldyPond: I've looked over it a couple of times, and I just can't see how to fix it properly. Thus, it is not included in the new ZIP folder.

Deku: Basically, 6/8 is made up of 2 groups of 3 quavers, and so the way the notes are grouped should reflect that. Check it out when the update goes up, I'll fix that up.

[DS] Animal Crossing: Wild World - "Museum: Observatory" - MoldyPond
Status: Accepted

Deku: Same thing as your first submission with staccatos.

MoldyPond: Fixed

Deku: Ok

[N64] Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island - "World Map" - MoldyPond (Replacement)
Status: Accepted

MoldyPond: Fixed the dynamics.

Deku: Errr..whoops, I meant to say that same thing about staccatos in this one too. Nevermind, I'll edit them in.

In general:
1) Dynamics beneath both staves is not necessary, and isn't generally used unless you want the 2 hands at noticeably different dynamics.
2) I'm pretty sure all those songs aren't forte/fortissimo. Fortissimo is supposed to be nearly as loud as possible. Be creative!  ;)

All right. So I fixed the second layer problem as best as I could, but I tried everything, and I just couldn't find a way to make only that layer play louder (even though I enabled an option that pretty much said "only play in layer 2", it still didn't work). So screw it. I think it's fine the way it is.

As for your fixes to "Bogey", it does sound better, except a few notes are missing from the start, so I "fixed" that (not sure if you did that on purpose), along with putting in the changes you made.

Ah. I see. I shall get on that as soon as I'm done my new Metroid II file (just bought it on my 3DS).

I know, those were just the things I fixed right away. Finale was being an ass and couldn't transpose the notes properly after changing the key signature on "In the Hall of the Zombie King", so I had to manually fix the whole sheet. It's done now, but about the second layer thing, not being a huge musical buff, I'm not sure what you mean by "arpeggiate", and looking at a definition didn't help me either. So my only option at the moment is to get rid of the layer altogether, but then it sounds too empty. I'll upload that version so you can see if it should be fixed or not (I also fixed a few chords here and there that were wrong). If it is ok, then I'll upload the MIDI and PDF as well. http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?213giwmf920acac

For the "Chart Data" sheet, here's a link to it on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hsttt4425xM , however, it's pretty crappy, so just in case, I'll also upload it in better quality without the drums to make it easier to hear. http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?m31u44r5tottfk1

I can't see the changes you to "Bogey" because it was made with a newer version of Finale.
http://www.mediafire.com/?cdrdzv393hda534 That's the proper link to "Flashback". Sorry about that.
