I mean, depending on who you bank with, odds are pretty good you could've used whatever online banking service they provide and simply reordered a new card yourself. Unless you bank with some small/local institution that don't provide such services.

Quite honestly I don't know why people bother to read his posts. They're all incredibly self-centered and incoherent. I know you've mentioned this before, elsewhere some time ago, but Tobbeh you should really take all of these scattered post about...whatever it is you're trying to talk about and just start a blog. It's fairly clear you're just wanting to hear yourself talk considering barely anyone responds to you and you seem to just rush to talk about something else.

Well, it depends on what the goal is; beyond a graphic and audio overhaul, the only other things that should be done to a remake are fix/refine mechanics or controls, and maybe make superficial changes to make an earlier game more in-line with later installments. There's also the issue of an older game that's been long out of print being remade for a modern market due to it's significance to video game history; or it's still a widely acclaimed game the people want to replay on newer hardware.

Of course, but that's a phase all truly new music goes through. I think did some interesting things with harmony and phrasing for piano music, but I agree people do place too much importance on him overall.

I think it has more to do with that Chopin wasn't affected by what Beethoven did, he just did his own thing, rather than a dislike.

And here I am considering myself a Neo-Romantic, albeit closer to the likes of R. Strauss, Bruckner, and Mahler.

C to Ab flat isn't all that dissonant, though.

Perhaps I was alone in my initial assessment of "Blackstar", as I found the song immediately captivating despite its length. But as I gained the views of others they agreed with you more that since the song was so titanic compared to his other offerings it's a bit hard to take as an album opener, especially considering how it was intrinsically tied with his death for many people. And you mentioned its structure which, as someone who listens to classical music constantly, I understood his overarching goal with the song. That said I have many more thoughts about this album because I consider it one of the finest musical offerings of all time, much less that of Bowie's other works, I may elaborate elsewhere at a later time.

BDS, we need to talk music sometime, our tastes are nearly identical.

Hi. Big time Liszt fan, first time caller. Liszt's music is all about showing off; he was one of the greatest pianist of all time and he made sure you knew that with all of his piano pieces. While this is one of his more fanciful pieces it is deceptively difficult; albeit it being on the easier side of his works. Daj is right with half the charm of Liszt is performing with that bravado-bravura attitude, but the other half is in the complexity of the music itself. Liebestraum is but a taste of his harmonic prowess, and I advise you to seek out other works by him, though I feel he really shines with his orchestral material.

I always found it amusing that Paul wrote a song in Fats' style and then he later covered it, like it came full circle.

Chiming in on a few things I missed earlier:

MK64 is not the best in the series, as Slow said before it's simply outdone by later versions that did what MK64 did but better. That said the 2D Mario Kart Games (SMK and MK:SC) are easily some of the worst racing games I've ever played, while at the time they did what they could on the Super Nintendo, there's just some things parallax scroll can't replicate well versus true 3D: depth perception. That said I think one of the best things MK64 has for it is its course design; there's a reason why nearly every course from the game has been adapted for later installments.

Sunshine is a good game, the reason why it's regarded so poorly is simply because every other 3D Mario game is fantastic. SM64 and Galaxy are often tied for the best in the franchise because of how much they elevated game design in general. Sure, aspects of SM64 are pretty dated, but it's still perfectly playable even by modern standards. To better compare Sunshine consider it Beethoven's 4th Symphony to SM64 being his 3rd, and Galaxy being his 5th.
