Quote from: Ruto on July 04, 2010, 09:33:21 AMI'm pretty excited this time, but I should try to keep things to a minimum. Usually the games I preorder and whatnot turns into a disappointment xD

Anyhoo, I do like Impressionist Art, but the game doesn't seem as dark as I'd like. The woods are like something from a children's cartoon, when the initial art suggested it was going to be rated T or something.

One thing though, if there's the Master Sword, does it mean we see Ganondorf? lol.

I've had pretty good luck with preordering games (Bowsers Inside Story and Pokemon Platinum and SoulSilver)

The art is leaning more toward that of WindWaker, but with a more realistic looking setting and stuff, like a mixture between WindWaker and Twilight Princess

And if there's a master sword, then master sword=ganondorf (just look at spirit tracks, you had Malladus and a Spirit Sword, the master sword only applies to Ganon/Ganondorf)

Quote from: SuperFireKirby on July 04, 2010, 07:31:07 AMI do like the new control scheme thanks to wii motion plus. Fighting on Twilight Princess on the wii version could get pretty annoying, which is why I played the gamecube version instead. The new items looks nice as well. One thing I'm not really liking are the kinda but kinda not cell-shaded graphics. I'd rather they just keep the same amount of realism in the graphics they used is TP as well as making them look better.

I just really hope it comes with a wii motion plus device. If so, I'm sold.

theres no way ill pay 20 dollars for motion plus, unless likes you said, it came with it.

im not a huge fan of the cell-shaded graphics, i really loved TP graphics and i believe they were the best of all the zelda games (even including skyward sword), but i wont mind when im playing. its still a great zelda game!

Quote from: SlowPokemon on July 04, 2010, 07:05:43 AMUmm... It doesn't work very well when you shake it. When school was in session I would slip it in my pocket. Pretty much my entire high school got one of them xD
I'd walk down the halls and see people connecting Pokewalkers lol

well, I walked with mine, but if you spun it in circles on a hard surface, then  it would rack up steps.

At my school, only 10 people had those things (out of about 1025 or so)

I wanna know everyone's thoughts on the new Zelda game (even though it won't be released for sometime... like Pokémon Black and White).

I love the fact that the sword is basically an extention of the arm with MotionPlus (which works on SMG 2 suprisingly)

Nintendo / Re: New Type of Pokemon Game?

this game would be amazing! i'd buy it (and im saving up for an iMac... whenever the new ones come out)

Quote from: SlowPokemon on June 26, 2010, 09:22:09 AMHere's another problem - unlike the anime, you should not be able to tell your Pokemon to "dodge". Unfair.

if "dodge" was an action, then if an attack lands it would probably knock you out (cause thats how it is in the anime... they keep on dodging until one moderate attack hits, and BOOM, KO)

Quote from: Taser9090 on July 03, 2010, 07:35:09 PMIf you're talking about the original Silver, then go for it! If you're talking about SoulSilver, then... still get it :p

The original Silver is a classic!

sorry, i didn't see your last post, but i fixed it. i see what you meant, everything was pushed over basically a quarter rest. i input everything by piano into finale (if you read an earlier post, its easier than simple edit in finale), and then I edit it there.

I'm not the best pianist, but it took me about a week to get everything down on the Ending Theme, you need the full 4-fingered chords, but you can play the top two notes if its too hard  :D
#7975
i know, but I don't want to overstep my bounds and make it completely unplayable because of the speed and the notes i have to put in. i've seen the released sheet music for it, and it aint pretty
#7976
well, i already beat (and have) soulsilver. (more of my favorite pokémon are in heartgold)
#7977
it would have been a change of pace a little bit, and that's the part that everyone knows well.
#7978
i have beat every zelda game i've played. i am more a zelda fan than a mario fan... pokémon is off a different chute. The first video game I ever played was Ocarina of Time, so it has been a part of me from the beginning.

i still have to work on twilight princess for my wii (i beat the gamecube version). Nintendo just keeps releasing newer games!
#7979
I just started playing my heartgold today (even though ive had it since the dsi xl came out)... its one fantastic game!
#7980
not bad! i just havent played it since christmas last year (cause then i got hooked on spirit tracks)
