Everyone keeps saying that, but what are we really losing by not having Crystal? Female protag and Eusine, I guess? And let's be honest, if they offered Crystal, nobody would get Gold or Silver.

You're forgetting a few things.
-Battle Tower
-Cute lil sprite animations
-Getting Suicune, meaning one less stupid legendary beast to hunt down
-Move Tutors
-Trainers would the players items (which were evolutionary stones!)

And many more.

Also, excuse you, Kris is great and means a lot to me. I remember being excited as a child that I could finally play as a girl in a Pokemon game.

...where's Crystal

This is the first time the announcement of a Pokemon game has left me like this, tbh. It's... upsetting.

I met one of them irl, but that's about it.

I'm waiting to be impressed by this. It better show some good stuff at E3.
