Messages - TWG Bowser

Quote from: TWG Link on May 11, 2013, 04:17:51 PMAlso, now that I think of it:
My accusations of anybody else, aside from TWG Fox, would make little sense, unless I somehow knew about the screenshots beforehand, and could "turn the tables" against you, Bowser.
An accusation against Luigi would make 0% sense, especially with the wolfing of Fox.
Obviously, those screenshots practically absolved Luigi of any guilt. And no, knowledge of those screenshots wouldn't have mattered, because you keep insistent on "how you could spin them". You had plenty of time to think of ways to do so, and seem to be going out of your way to prove just that. You even tried to disprove them after Fox posted them! It's quite obvious that they caught you off guard and now you're trying to backpedal your argument to make it seem like they haven't been a factor in your argument, even though you keep bringing them up.

Yes, but he has actually made better arguments, or rather ones that were more cohesive. Leaving him alive would've been far riskier than trying to convince Me or Luigi of the contrary.

Quote from: TWG Link on May 11, 2013, 03:48:32 PMIf I were the wolf, and thus knew that Fox was going to be wolfed, there would be no reason to do something completely unnecessary, especially since I could use the screenshots to MY advantage (e.g. saying using the fact that the screenshots also apply to YOU to my advantage).

Yes, but those screenshots didn't even come up until after the end of the phase, after sending in a wolfing would be possible. Fox basically had an ace up his sleeve and now you have to live with it.

And you have said that:
Quote from: TWG Link on May 11, 2013, 03:10:32 PMb. Fox's screenshots also applied to you.
Of course I've never made it a secret that I've been online for a majority of the game. I was also constantly in the chat, as you could check with me constantly logging in every few hours.

Quote from: TWG Link on May 11, 2013, 03:35:37 PMBut it would be pointless and dangerous to do if I were a wolf; it would provide nothing beneficial, especially since Fox was the one wolfed (e.g. it would be better to stay offline until the update, and let everybody else "trip up").

But you didn't, hindsight being 20/20.

To keep up appearances. To most important tool a Wolf has is the guise of ignorance.

Quote from: TWG Link on May 11, 2013, 03:22:30 PMMy logic might not be the easiest to follow for many people, but it DOES make sense (if that statement makes sense in the first place)... :|

If your logic isn't easy to follow, then it isn't logic. You're just making leaps until you reach a conclusion that fits, rather than thinking it out step-by-step. If people can't follow you, then you haven't proved you're right.

I disagreed with Fox of the lynch, yes, but I was surer of his humanity than I was of yours.

You'd have every reason to wolf Fox, since because you would know you'd have to convince myself or Luigi (whichever one you left alive) that he was a wolf. And given the state of things presently that would've proven to be challenging considering you've made no secret that you two were essentially enemies throughout the game. It would've been harder to convince us that you weren't the wolf because of it. Fox would've most likely voted against you and it would've been up to you to convince the last player otherwise!

You probably assumed that Luigi was an easy choice to go after in the final lynch, since that was most likely what would've happened. However, Fox's screen caps practically absolved from any such activity. So that leaves you to try and make me out to be a wolf.

Quote from: TWG Link on May 11, 2013, 01:00:50 PMYou would've been better off just killing me or Luigi.

You clever shrew. I should've realized you blind accusations and assumptions added up to no good.
#69
Yeah, well let's try to bring this to a swift end.

Son of a Bitch, I forgot to vote.

Quote from: TWG Luigi on May 08, 2013, 03:07:09 PMWell it helps that you gave me almost nothing to defend against.

I did notice that Yoshi was replaced day 2 thank you very much, but I was still suspicious of him based on his behaviour on day 1.

I could have sworn that I had voted day 3 though.
I suppose I should've said "account for your (lack) of behavior."

Yes Yoshi was replaced, but he was wolfed last night.

You did not.
#73
Right, so we have some time then.

Luigi, I want to hear some sort of defense from you, because right now you are my No. 1 suspect.

Ok, well the phase ends in 7.5 hours. I'm not going to be here by then to place a vote. With everything that has transpired I am left think we have an inactive player as the final wolf.

Why final wolf?

Based on the wolfings, only Waluigi's was really of any strategic value. I firmly believe that Samus wasn't a wolf, and DK was. Falcon's behavior seems odd and based on the other wolfings it would strike me that he was probably the wolves only active player.

I think Falcon was behind the Kirby wolfing, and Wolf No. 3 choose the rest with DK having to pick up the slack during the day phases.

So let's look at the two inactive players: Luigi and Pikachu.

Luigi was replaced in the middle of Day 1, and his vote was for himself Day 1. He voted for Yoshi Day 2 because he wasn't being helpful. Yoshi was replaced almost immediately afterwards and was far more helpful. Luigi didn't notice. He didn't even vote Day 3.

Pikachu voted for DK Day 1, following my ridiculous theory about him. He voted for Waluigi Day 2 for being strange, but he noted that he was in character and that there were no better options at the time. Voted for Luigi Day 3 for not being helpful.

Pikachu has shown more signs of being attentive throughout the game than Luigi has. He's also been more ready to be helpful throughout the game as well. Lugig hasn't made any real attempt to be useful until now, when his name came up as a lynching option.

Thoughts? In the chat.

I did, but after talking with you and Fox, and reviewing the game, all signs point to one of those two.
