There is little to no thematic material in either theme, but the underground theme has manifested itself everywhere in Mario Games.

You could omit a decay and make that final tremolo crescendo, as it should return to the climax point anyway. The decay you want will simply butcher the piece as, well, Kirkhope simply gives you more, not less.

Its all in 4/4 but with pick-ups for those first few notes and some strange rythmic patterns.

...your mind is ahead of your abilities. You have all of these great ideas and insights, but you just don't know how to execute them. We all have those issues when we first start writing and arrangeing, but the only solution is practice.

I treated it  more of a transcription than I did an arrangement. That attributed to its uniqueness in sound and quality.

That's the reason why we have the "Fixing the Sheets" project, to remedy those issues.
