Quote from: Seeker on December 28, 2009, 07:42:01 PMTeacher assigned an insane amount of repertoire for next semester, so I doubt I'll be able to touch Maestro's Lost Woods until summer. This is starting to look like Duke Nukem Forever.
Well if you're serious about playing serious music, then that's what you should focus on. Or at least give it more attaention than everything else.

Merry Christmas!

Secret

I want to thank all of you for your support in my work, and your patience in these recent times. I offer a sample of a side project of mine.

This is my way of thanking all of you for without you I wouldn't Work on these arrangements with the same intensity. Enjoy this little trinket, and have a great new year.

It was a joke, since Nintendo adds 50+ pokemon with each installment.

Help! / Re: Repeats won't work?

Well, it needs to be cleaned up alot, but for the most part it's a pretty good medley. You might want to rezise the underground theme (Make it a little easier to read, those dotted rhythms are a bear to interpret) and the pipe effect (Remove those inner notes of the chords, its only a gliss).

Notepad is heavily handicapped. The repeats are only for show, you need a higher version for it to take the repeat in playback.

That is a very interesting idea, I can probably tool around with my arrangement to achieve the desired result.

Dancing Mad...I'll take the case!

The Choral Arrangement is good, but are a few prblems with the text in the alto and baritone lines...mainly its just that their staements are only fragmens of words or the vowels will not have a good combination together. I can explain in moe detail later.

Sorry to dissappoint everyone, but all I need at this point is a Final Fantasy theme. I'm already doing Cornelia Castle, so if you would be so kind as to suggest another theme, I will have reached my 50 theme marker. After I accept a theme, I will no longer take any suggestions.

Thank you for your time. Expect some Pokemon stuff in the coming weeks.

Quote from: Cobraroll on November 24, 2009, 06:06:50 AM^I think he meant the principle, not the tools. You need to have a place to scribble down a plan, doodle a little with ideas, etc, outside your main workspace. It doesn't matter if you do it with pen(cil) and paper, Windows NotePad, Paint, or punch holes in your wall with a screwdriver.
That is exactly what I meant, but don't go punching holes in your wall universe. The song is chaos, which is what you were going for, right?
