Hey, I'd rather have formulas than a random number generator :P

If I remember correctly I saw my cousin catch Azelf in Pt with a freakin' Pokeball when it was at full health. I think he tapped A repeatedly or whatnot, I'll ask again.

XD

I remember the days of the old GS when it took me 2 hours to catch Lugia. But I did it! Yeah, I was a kid then, but they didn't have Timer Balls, False Swipe as a TM or Pokemon abilities. This time it took a while because I was trying to get a Ho-Oh with a good nature and IV.

I think Dragonite was worse! Not as bad as Milotic, Garchomp, Lucario, Houndoom...but still annoying. Aerodactyl just got creamed by Ampharos lol. I'm going to try to beat Red soon, but I don't know what to with my team. I need Rock Climb to get to him but I don't want to change my movelists or leave behind someone. :/

Ohhh nice team. I was forced by a sibling to start with Totodile but I really missed having a Typhlosion

I had

Feraligatr
Ho-Oh
Gengar
Graveler
Ampharos

levels 40-46

and a level 29 Growlithe for the lolz. I think I used 8 Revival Herbs for Lance and Karen XD. Can't wait to EV train everyone.

You've got a great team though, but what happened to Ho-Oh/Lugia?

Quote from: KefkaticFanatic on April 12, 2010, 09:20:29 PMBut they make your pokemans not like you :(

I wouldn't worry about that. If I need to revive a Pokemon and recover all their health in single turn, I'll do it.

Also, my Pokemon seemed just as friendly after the battles :D

Request / Re: Songs from the Soul Calibur Series

Thank you so much!

I'd do it myself if I had the program but I don't...lol.

Buy some Revival Herbs at the Goldenrod underground. A must have since they were introduced and worked like the description!

I remember way back that they used to work just like regular revives, where they only recover 1/2 your HP.

Quote from: SirIngusBingus on April 03, 2010, 10:32:34 AMThat actually really bothered me above all. I absolutely hated her role in this game. She went from a respectable, regal Hyrulian monarch to a cross between Navi and a 12-year-old-girl.

Hey somebody likes adult Zelda! XD

I did like the idea of Zelda actually helping you but sometimes it did get annoying. Like the whole fear of rats. I'd also have to attack her to make her move faster sometimes (with a whip if Link is on her back, lol). If this game had the 20 year old Zelda following you the whole game, I wouldn't like it very much. She just couldn't shoot >__>

Old Niko was great. Unfortunately I took any links to PH/WW too seriously such as mistaking Linebeck III for Linebeck and Anjean with Tetra. Now what about PH/WW Link..?

The train was really annoying though. The warps didn't help at all since they were in the middle of nowhere. At least in the other games you could be near a landmark when you warp. The humor in the game nearly made it worth buying. (Nearly)

QuoteI have yet to beat that dumb Pac-man like game where you get those yellow tear things (I only beat it once, but then the Demon king killed me).
I seriously do not want to kill those stupid trains who are faser than you.

I'd save right after I beat those trains (you can still return to the overworld if you don't save during Malladus). The worst is yet to come, sorry.  Right in between parts 1 and 2 of the Malladus fight you have to play the ST overworld theme (?) on the panpipes. Gah! I was so out of breath from trying that Malladus just beat me.

...Oh yeah and I forgot Byrne in the list.

While the game doesn't have the best Zelda feel of them all, it has

1) Linebeck III
2) the whip
3) mine carts (Link landing on his face lol)
4) Zelda actively helping you
5) Phantom-speak
6) the Goron boy

Which is still pretty good even without an overworld you can walk on. I'd actually like that very much...

Serebii says Houndour can be caught in the Safari Zone.  Needs 4 Forest blocks, whatever that is.  Otherwise, it has a 5% appearance rate, so I would trade it anyway.

Request / [MUL] Soul Calibur Series
April 02, 2010, 01:08:55 PM
I've noticed that ninsheetmus has only 2 songs for the entire series, so...

The songs I'm requesting are:

Going to Where the Wind Blows (http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=FR&hl=fr&v=m1WMTDj4Gzc - played) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RTZZMb53ibM - soundtrack)
Peaceful Days (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WW_SG0LE25Y)
Hubris (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Ng6EicLDIw - I think, there are different versions of this)
Healing Winds (http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=FR&hl=fr&v=CFgg-dvzPEk - played) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3W6t-sSJuwY)
Ephemeral Dream (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxCVpfBaXis)

The sheet music for the first 4 have been out for some time in pdf form (Delldongo's website http://delldongo.free.fr/transcriptions/). For these songs, I was hoping to have someone write them as .mus files (I don't have the software) and submit them to the site. And credit the transcriber Delldongo for the originals if you used them.

For the last song, Ephemeral Dream, I haven't been able to find any sheet music on it and everyone who played on youtube didn't use any sheet music.  My sister wants to learn it (she's 10) and she only managed to play the first part of the song by ear. She wants to able to play more of it and check "her version" with written sheets.

Yes, this is a lot to ask, so thanks in advance. I have midi versions as well, but looking for the site is a bother. They're on my computer, so email me if you need them.

Thanks for reading!

Quote from: KefkaticFanatic on April 02, 2010, 07:20:20 AMBah, just beating the Elite Four doesn't count, there's still half a game left!

Ya I know. That's why the second generation games were so much fun XD

Can't wait to see everything else and catch the infinitely more awesome Lugia.  And the Gym Leaders are going to fall like dominoes after the **** Lance and Houndoom put me through, lol. Houndoom's Nasty Plot 3x and a missed Aqua Tail nearly cost me the battle.

@SirIngusBingus

I remember when Silver was first released and you couldn't even fly to Johto from Victory Road.  You were trapped there until you fixed the train (or could wait for the boat, or take the super long Victory Road route). That was the worst thing ever.

I always used Oddish or Bellsprout. Their attacks aren't as good as Pikachu's but they take less damage.

(Beat HG today, wooo...I only had 5 pokemon and they were in their 40s. Stopped trying, I suppose.)

Quote from: Seeker on March 06, 2010, 02:55:55 PMApparently one of the space shuttles blew up because one group of scientists were using metric while the other was using the stupid system.

I will never tire of that anecdote.

Truly a classic. Yep, there goes a billion dollars.
