Please, no. Anything but more Gen 1. Gen 1 is great and all, but super overrated. We need more Gen 5.

Off-Topic / Copyrights
March 22, 2014, 07:39:14 AM
A while ago, I was wondering how video game music copyrights worked and I couldn't find any applicable information in the internet. Then I remembered, duh! I am a member of NSM! Someone here will probably know the answer!

So, I was wondering how using video game music copyright laws worked if I wanted to put them in a youtube video (or similar thing). Is it OK just to use them? Do you need to have a note at the bottom giving the copyright info? If not, is it OK to use an arrangement of the song in the video?

I was hoping someone would know, as you guys probably have to use this kind of stuff when making sheets.

Request / [Wii] Fortune Street - "Title Screen"

I realize that this is probably a very hard arrangement, but I'd really like it.
There is no Fortune Street sheet music ANYWHERE!
Which is kind of weird. It's a good game.

That is exactly what I meant.

It is strange that those are in "fulfilled requests" then, huh?

I found this: http://forum.ninsheetm.us/index.php?topic=2488.msg76562#msg76562 in fulfilled requests, but I didn't think that it ever actually got fulfilled.  ???

If someone has, please give me a link.

Otherwise, here is a youtube video for a request: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oL27RfTzTI

Thanks so much!

There are a few background voices missing, but I honestly didn't expect those to even be playable on piano.

In other words, this is awesome!

I didn't arrange this...

But I found an arrangement somewhere else online: https://app.box.com/shared/4qomjqv1exi68fuz69ra
It's not perfect, as the left hand turns very different later on, but it's good.

I made an identical in notes but clearer in formatting version here: http://sdrv.ms/1k9BbOP

Hope this helps!

Quote from: spitllama on December 27, 2013, 11:06:56 PMThe bass voice that you're hearing is actually the easy part. It's the electronic sixteenth notes in the background that are going to be the bear...

Well, when I said the left hand, I meant both of the background voices, but I kept trying to arrange them, but it didn't work out very well...

Is it even possible to arrange those background voices?

I'd love to do it, but I probably don't have the arranging skill.

I think I can actually arrange this song myself if someone can help with the left hand accompaniment part. I can't seem to make it sound right. Can anyone arrange that left hand for me?

Help! / Re: Tempo changes

*smacks self in forehead*

Sorry for all of the trouble, FierceDeity. I just found out how to change tempo by myself in Notepad.

Hmmm. Yeah, your'e right the changes just aren't written, but they are there.

It looks like I can copy and paste the first measure's tempo to create a tempo change, but it doesn't work with any other measure. I'm not sure how the text on top works, but it seems to be the only thing that can cause a tempo change in another file when copied.

If you want to and can  remake it so that it can be copied, that would be nice, but not needed.

Thanks a lot! But, apparently, Notepad can't read tempo changes unless I add them, so the .mus you made just looked like 50 bpm the whole to me. If you could just make each measure a separate .mus file, then it would work.

But seriously, thanks so much for helping me!

Help! / Tempo changes

I only have finale notepad, so I can't change tempo the correct way. If someone who has a better version of finale could make a sheet for me that has no notes but changes tempo every measure in increments of 10 from 50-200, that would be very helpful,a s I could copy them to make it work.
