Happy New Year everyone!!

I thought I made this post, I appear to have lost it. Anyway, I got my High School results today and I'm in the top 7% of the state. Not the top 5% as I had hoped, but I like 7 more than 5 as a number, so there's that. Still gets me into everything it needs to! So Hurray for that!

Anyways, I would love to start! But is it a classical "Theme and Variation," where we must arrange the original theme first, or do we just start with a random season and arrange from there?

I bought one of those way back and it didn't work...too busy to tinker with it too -.- If there's a quick start guide to those I would give it a try, it would make a lot of things easier.

I did this as well last year! It did not work immediately, therefore it mustn't have worked at all. I wonder where it's gone...

We could even do a Theme and Variations on a Season Theme. As in having 4 variations for summer, autumn, winter and spring.

Last time I think some people did a couple of phrases of a longer song, though I can't remember too accurately. I did the entire piece, but I chose "Ranger Base," from Pokemon Ranger, which is really short. I'd support Theme and Variation again since it's nice and easy and fun.

We need a host before anything. Anyone know where Yug Guy is?

I was thinking of changing the "Major<->Minor" variation to include any musical mode. I want to experiment with something.

So like from Ionian to Dorian (for example) you mean? That would be really interesting and would require a lot of thought. Of course if the change in mode is up to the arranger, then it can still technically cover a Major to minor (or vice versa) change for those who are yet to understand modes.

I still find it absolutely astounding that if you mention any kind of socialism to an American their heads explode. Most modern iterations of socialism is democratic socialism where the government provides essential services (including education, health care and climate action) whilst remaining a mostly capitalist economy.

But that's none of my business...

Very nice! Simple arrangement of a simple tune!

One or two things, though;

-I feel that most of the notes in this song would benefit from a mezzo tenuto on them (a tenuto with a staccato dot).
-Perhaps a Finale wizard or someone could remove the Bass stave? It's entirely redundant in this piece.

So I picked this up about a week ago and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Although I didn't know you could spare enemies until the game guilted me into it before Asgore, so spared him and the flower crime against nature. Now I'm doing a Pacifist run with much more amusing results.
