Quote from: TWG Haruhi Suzumiya on September 11, 2014, 04:59:52 PMI'm voting Tingle for now. It just seems weird that his long analysis was the first post he made after the killing/disguising.
Excuse me? You vote for someone who already has two votes because he actually participated and attempted to analyze a twg game? I don't know what you expected him to do

It turns out I had a pretty huge misunderstanding of how the whole disguise mechanic works, but I'm pretty sure I've got it all sorted out now!

As far as I can see, since the wolves can disguise every night phase, why not? If anything, it would make more sense to use the disguise power as early as possible. I agree that being inactive would probably work as a wolf (at least in the beginning), but inactive humans would actually be beneficial to them as well for the same reason. A human that hasn't posted much and doesn't have much of a text-based identity could easily be replaced without a huge noticeable change in character (though neither of these really help in my case, since it actually makes sense to go after the inactives on Day 1).

Besides myself, the only other fairly inactive players are Kirby and Pikachu (and maybee Haruhi). I'd say out of the three TWG Kirby has been the least useful, as the other two have given at least one thought out post each (here and here respectively).

(for clarity)

... (Inb4 ness/fox are the wolves xD)
I still don't see why you think I'm a wolf...

Quote from: TWG Pikachu on October 06, 2013, 05:05:17 AMAlso Ness, Why is it... of all the so many posts (is it 6?) you've had this game... why you had to ramble on my ramble on instead of doing additional work???
You were one of the first people to actually provide a list like that. Sorry for trying to start a conversation in a game of inactives.

Quote from: TWG Pikachu on October 05, 2013, 04:23:20 AMI personally dont like this reasoning, there are 2 wolves... to think that the partner didnt shoot regardless of wether the other is inactive... Its not impossible, But I find it weird that its the first thing that comes to mind
That's regarding that the wolfing was accidental. The popular opinion right now is that it was intentional

Quote from: TWG Pikachu on October 05, 2013, 04:23:20 AMinteresting playing the "Im new card", and immediatley comes up with this... Maybe Im overthinking things... Might have a look at this later...
yeah i dont think anyone playing is particularly new (hope this doesnt bite me back in the postgame)

Quote from: TWG Pikachu on October 05, 2013, 04:23:20 AMIsnt this a possible wolf strategy????
I dont understand?

Quote from: TWG Pikachu on October 05, 2013, 04:23:20 AMum, Relentlessly attacking isnt always a wolfish trait
At the time, Bowser wasn't really "relentlessly attacking" anyone. He jumped to conclusions on Luigi, which at least sparked some conversation. I never really felt like he was suspecting me either.

Quote from: TWG Pikachu on October 05, 2013, 04:23:20 AMThere are two pieces to the pie, one person being inactive DOES NOT MEAN... that they HAD to make the shot...
of course, someone can be carrying...
Again, that was early on in the game. The wolfing was most likely deliberate.

Quote from: TWG Pikachu on October 05, 2013, 04:23:20 AMquick thought on
the TWG mario lynch.
to be all honest, it was horrible, absolutley horrible. the fact that it went 3 way coinflip with samus and luigi AND that mario hadnt said a damm thing, no way to tell the mario flip imo. but luigi is looking green, If he wanted to save himself he would have either had person x or the scum buddeh vote samus.
No wolfing in the very beginning of the game where the players don't know each other's identities is really difficult to analyze. Even if a wolf could've broken the KitB with a vote for one of the players, I doubt that they would have, since it would be pretty obvious they wanted that person dead

Quote from: TWG Pikachu on October 05, 2013, 04:23:20 AMBowser wolfng, based on early interactions, seemingly more to indicate that luigi is green. (no pun intended)

Kirby lynch, doesnt make sense in 10v2 to Self destruct (again no pun intended). need to read a bit more...
Samus wolfing. need to read a bit more, but it looks like luigi is green
Can you explain your reasoning for these three?

Quote from: TWG Pikachu on October 05, 2013, 04:23:20 AMcaptain falcon doesnt look all that promising to be honest. mainly that vote on TWG mario, but definetly needs a read
If anything, I think his vote on Mario was one of the more suspicious things he did. Like Fox said, he singled out Mario while plenty of other players were being inactive as well. I was even partly inactive, and he mentioned that in the same post!

Quote from: TWG Pikachu on October 05, 2013, 04:23:20 AMfox, all bark and no bite??? you havent casted a vote, you have been relatively active as well... Its a decent idea...  but... I really doubt that you are going to follow on it...
Fox hasn't been active for the most part. At least he threw an idea out there this phase.

Quote from: TWG Pikachu on October 05, 2013, 04:23:20 AMthoughts for no wolfing n1.
basically,
F4 is easier for uncertainty and chaos than F3 (in terms of the wolves)
Im probably missing something but I literally have no idea what you mean

Because I don't have any strong suspicions, I made a defense list instead!

Kirby - So Kirby seems to be the popular lynch because he's attacking Luigi. Yoshi brought up a good point though: if Luigi were a smart wolf he would have stopped arguing a while ago. Wouldn't the same be true for Kirby then? Especially since he's more on the attacking side, why would a wolf continue to be openly aggressive if the humans know the purpose for a wolf is to kill as many as possible?

Luigi - basically what's been said before. He's relentless even when everything points against him, an it would've been smart to stop by now

Falcon - the only real suspicion I've seen on him was for "spamming" Night 1 (I counted and he did have the most posts but not by much). Luigis theory is that if he were planning on missing the wolfing to lynch inactives, he would have posted a lot in the thread to exclude himself from the inactive group. Not only were there two other players who posted almost as much as him (Kirby and Bowser), but what wolf would draw so much attention to themselves when it would come back later to bite them? If he was a wolf and simply didn't expect the humans to think the wolfing was intentional, that would just be poor wolfiness since it has a 50/50 chance of being either one

I'm probably really not helping, since the phase ends in ~10 hours and I'm still stuck.

Ninja'd
Pikachu - he's been pretty inactive so there's not much I can say. Others have been inactive too, and waddle said he would replace them after this phase (though I doubt he can replace all of them)

Luigi, you seem to be basing most of your suspicions on whether the player logged in or not. Since we don't know the alternate accounts, we don't know if the person was actually active or not. You don't need to log into your TWG account just to read the thread and make judgements

I brought this up in the chat (you weren't there) but I can't even tell if you think the night 1 outcome was accidental anymore. You seem like youre flip flipping back and forth between the two. Your main point against Falcon is that you could see him intentionally missing the wolfing, but later on you say DK is human for the same reason

16 hours actually, its 11 AM EDT tomorrow.

I'll have to safety on TWG Ness unless some other discussion starts

Quote from: TWG Link on September 29, 2013, 08:28:00 AMI am thinking of the possibility that the Wolves might have wolfed no one and then went to the sidelines to hope that we would go after active Players but I am not sure how likely that is.
Don't you mean inactive players?

I don't really see the strategy in purposefully missing a wolfing unless the wolves are active. And since everyone at least logged on their accounts Night 1, everyone had the opportunity to send in a wolfing pm. The problem with this is if we lynch the active players we might end up with no actives and no one posting anything

Sorry for not posting, I was a little busy today! I didn't post last night since it was Night 1 and I didn't really have much to say or do.

Quote from: TWG Bowser on September 28, 2013, 05:08:14 PMThis means that he had only 10 minutes in his account, which could either allow him to read the whole thread at this point, or send in a message to kill someone, but not both.
The only reason I logged in in the first place was to check if the password was right/if I could remember it easily. I can't. Plus I could've read the thread on my actual account instead, so I'm not sure what your point is.

Quote from: TWG Luigi on September 28, 2013, 08:39:14 AMThe thing that bothers me, though, is that only Ness didn't post, which implies that there was a wolf who did post and yet still didn't wolf.  And I'd probably suspect me of doing that most.
That doesn't really help us, since we don't know who you are and what your usual playing styles are.

In my defense as an inactive, why wouldn't I have wolfed someone if I was a wolf? If I was planning to be inactive and not join in the roleplaying, it would've been smarter to actually wolf someone to draw suspicion off of me. It takes < a minute to send in a pm which isn't difficult at all

Also does anyone else have to type in answers just to post? I got the verification code and the "What is the name of this site?" just for trying to post this.
