Nintendo / Pokemon Platinum :D (Some Spoilers)
June 11, 2008, 08:59:22 PM
I must say, I'm getting a little over-hyped for this. ;D I'm gonna import it from Japan ASAP when it's released, which is probably sometime in fall. There isn't a whole lot of new content, but still. Shaymin gets a new form, and there's new areas to explore (+ you get new outfits apparently). 'Tis all I know at the moment.

Is anyone else planning to get this?

Quite possibly more impossible than the first. I just found this sequel, and I must say it's ticking me off...SO!, I'm passing the aggravation on! >=D

Prepare to fail like me...Play it here: The Impossible Quiz 2

Completed and on site

It's technically not a song, but I've always wanted to play the little jingle that plays when you unlock something. I don't even think it has an official name...

Song Name: Correct Solution
Game: [N64] Super Mario 64
Composer: Koji Kondo
Audio: MP3, YouTube Video :P - It plays right after Mario kicks in all 3 books around "0:50" (It's only, like, 16 some notes)

If it had a MIDI I'd do it myself, but alas, this one's all ears...

EDIT: Thanks for the name Brian! ;D
EDIT2: Thanks for the MP3 Dekudude! ;D

Off-Topic / YouTube to MP3 Converter

I'm always seeing people posting links to YouTube videos as arrangement guides. Well, I found a nifty little program that takes the audio from YouTube videos and puts it into a savable MP3 form. I don't know if this is old news or whatnot, but I thought it was pretty cool.

Two links are really unnecessary, but:

Here's the installer.
Or download straight from the website.

PS: There's another website that functions kinda like hamienet called "vidtomp3.com", but the result quality is deteriorated.

Does anyone but me have this sweet game? I discovered it a while back when I was looking into Portal. It builds a custom track to a wide range of sound files, and lets you drive along the track for global high scores or just for fun. It's the ultimate use for any song collection! ;D

Here's a video of some gameplay: Poke---> :o
