Is there anything I still need to do for this? It hasn't been accepted, but I'm not sure what's left.

Thanks for the tip on how to change the notation quickly! I have an older version of Finale full I got when I was a student and it has this feature.

Quote from: Tobbeh99 on July 30, 2015, 11:14:43 AMI'm pretty sure the 110 is the "right" tempo, but I'll wait and let other people express their opinion first. 225 is an extremely fast tempo, just listen to the metronome: http://a.bestmetronome.com/

You're absolutely right, 110 is more reasonable, however I usually prefer a score that's easier to read, and having eighth notes instead of sixteenth aids in that endeavor. As I mentioned, it would end up being played the same speed.

Quote from: Tobbeh99 on July 30, 2015, 11:14:43 AMAlso not sure about the if the note spelling is right. Measure 5 the Cn should probably be B# and measure 4 left hand those An should probably be Gx.(my version)

B# is probably correct. I always avoid double sharps/flats if I can avoid it.

You obviously know a lot more about Finale than I do; I wouldn't know how to change the note values automatically (or did you do it manually)?

I prefer having a tempo of 225 with eighth notes than 110 with sixteenth notes, as I find it easier to read, and it's technically the same speed of playing either way.

I have a lot of other sheet music that I've done this way, so if there's a way to change it automatically I'd like to know, as it would take too much time to do it all manually.

Alright, thanks.

I just updated the PDF and MUS file. Please let me know if they are the way things should be.

If I may ask, why is Finale a requirement? Wouldn't it be fair to allow people to use their notation software of choice?

I followed the formatting guidelines as closely as I could in Noteflight, which is what I use as my notation editor. Is there something specific that is missing?

Quote from: Maelstrom on July 23, 2015, 11:09:21 AMI'm on mobile, so I can't comment much on accuracy, but the sheet looks pretty good, aside from a few note beaming errors.

Could you please point these out so I can correct them?

Quote from: Maelstrom on July 23, 2015, 11:09:21 AMTry to find out how to export a musicXML file from whatever program you use and import it into finale notepad to get a .mus file, which you can download for free.

Sure, if it's that simple, it should be fine; Noteflight exports to MusicXML.

Quote from: Olimar12345 on July 23, 2015, 11:32:07 AMYou'll have to properly resubmit this submission through the [NSM Panel] above. Also read this: http://forum.ninsheetmusic.org/index.php?topic=6421.0

Sure. Would you mind updating the image files in that link you shared? They are all broken at the moment.

PS. I tried to post this as close I could to the Submission Guidelines, but wasn't able to see how to add any attachments, and the example images were broken links. Also, not sure if I was supposed to post this here or in the "Submissions" subforum, but when I tried it would not let me create a topic. I used Noteflight to create the sheet music, which as far as I know doesn't produce MUS files.
