Edit #2: Oops. "LEARNING", not "LISTENING". :-[
I'm learning a lot of easy pieces, so many I'm not gonna list them because I can't remember what they were. :P
i just learn impromtu schubert a flat major haydn sonata g major asturias ... and of course the moonlight sonata
I'm learning a simplified version of Claire de Lune (I think that's how it's spelled), and a song from a set called "New England Memories" that I didn't learn before. I know the other two songs though.
Oh, and I was going to learn a nice fancy version of "Be Thou My Vision" but my piano teacher lost the music and hasn't been back up to the city to get it again...and I'm almost done with piano lessons for the summer...

hey, we played that song in band for our spring concert.
anyway, im learning Fur Elise by Bethoven, and the King of the Hill theme song
I play mostly jazz stuff, so I usually learn the main part of a song and then I ad-lib the rest. >_>
Right now I'm looking into a song called "Captain Hook" right now, as well as some easier songs like Tenor Madness, Song for My Father, and Chameleon. On Alto Sax by the way.

i wish my whole orchestra can play that
my teacher allows only a few kids to be in my video game music ensemble
At least you get to have a video game music ensemble. This is the only video game music my school has played. I'm trying to get you guys to change that because I can't orchestrate 15 pieces by myself. Go here: http://www.ninsheetmusic.net/forum/index.php?topic=644.0 (http://www.ninsheetmusic.net/forum/index.php?topic=644.0)
what we learned was
Concert Band:
Midway March, Centuria, Arioso, and some other song a closer walk with thee.
Jazz Band:
Children of Sanchez!(I didn't get the solo >XP my friend got it) but I was the first in almost all the other ones XD like Colonel Bogey, Fast Tracks, and some others. :P
@Starpikachu: Did you buy the Video Games Live score? If I wasn't homeschooled, and was in a school band I would try to get that! (I know where to get a full score book of the Kingdom Hearts Marching Band Suite too.)
Fur Elise(...)
Concerto in G K216 (arrangement for piano) by Mozart
Gigue from partita in Bb (forgot who wrote this...)

My teacher bought that. In November, he just randomly told us we were going to play it. You don't know how many discussions that started, both when we played it for the winter concert and when we played it for elementary school kids. :D
