TWG 78: Troll-tan's Great Adventure

Mechanics:
Shotgun - Every Day Phase, there will be a Shotgun present.  The first Player to say "I shoot [Player]" has a 1/n chance of successfully shooting the Player, where n is the number of living Players.  The second Player will have a 1/(n-1) chance of successfully shooting, the third a 1/(n-2), etc. until a successful shot is made.  If the Player targeted to be shot is dead, the shot will ricochet from the corpse to the shooter.  The Shotgun may make only one successful shot per Day Phase.  A Player may only attempt to shoot once per Phase.  The Shotgun must be used each Day Phase, or else everyone alive in the game loses.  If a Player is shot by the Shotgun but is wearing a Bulletproof Vest, it will be announced to the thread.  A Player shot by the Shotgun will cardflip his/her Role.

Bulletproof Vest - The Wolves choose one of the two Wolves to wear a Bulletproof Vest at the beginning of the game.

Ballot Box Seering - During every Night Phase, every Player sends the Host a PM with a seering vote on the name of a living Player.  One seering vote is selected at random at the end of the Night Phase and that Player is publicly seered in the topic.  The number of seering votes on each Player is also revealed at the end of the Night Phase.

Ballot Box Reviving - Every odd Night Phase, every Player sends the Host a PM with the name of a lynched Player.  The Player with the most votes is revived.

Power Order: Revivings < Seerings < Paintings < Wolfings

1. Wolf Painter with Bulletproof Vest - Sends a message to the Host during the Night Phase with the name of a Player.  That Player is seered Red for that Night Phase.  If shot by the Shotgun, will survive once.
2. Wolf Painter - Sends a message to the Host during the Night Phase with the name of a Player.  That Player is seered Red for that Night Phase.
3. Fool - Wins if lynched (being shot does not count as a lynch).  Sends the Host a PM with the name of a Player every Night Phase.  Learns that Player's colour at the end of the Phase.
4. Human with Bulletproof Vest - Told he/she is a normal Human.  If shot by the Shotgun, will survive once.
5. Human with Bulletproof Vest -  Told he/she is a normal Human.  If shot by the Shotgun, will survive once.
6. Human
7. Human
8. Human
9. Human
10. Human
11. Human

Role PM's:

QuoteHuman

QuoteFool

QuoteWolf Painter.  The other Wolf Painter is [Player].  Please determine which of you will wear the Bulletproof Vest for the remainder of the game.

All Role PM's have been sent.  It is now Night 1.  Night 1 ends April 6th at 11PM EDT.  Remember to send in seering PM's.

@Mashi: Shouldn't the ballot box reviving work on shotguns too? Otherwise every single lynched player will be brought back to life immediately after no matter what.

Either way, let's make a deal with the fool. If they claim now, we can lynch them on day 1, achieving their win condition. Following that, we revive them on night 2. Since we helped them win, they can help us find the wolves from that point forward. My thinking is, we're going to revive whoever we lynch on day 1 anyway, so why not make an ally out of it?

...obviously. Both of the wolves can paint players red each night. We'd do best by keeping our seer preferences a secret. On that note, I think we should try to seer players likely to be green than red. A green seering is the 100% identification of a human player. A red seering tells you that there's a 50% chance that player is a wolf (or less as the game continues), which isn't very helpful.

Nope.

On night 2, we must revive the player from day 1. Then we will lynch one player on day 2. At this point, there is only one dead lynched player, so we'll revive them on night 3. And on night 4, the only person we'll be able to revive is the lynch target from day 3.

Keep in mind that some people like to wolf themselves and then get revived the next day. While of course, it would be stupid to revive the guy we recently lynched, we also can't just randomly revived the wolfed guy.

Perhaps we should we thinking about who to shoot to achieve the best result? If Im reading this correctly, both the shooter and the target are slain at the moment of burst, so I can't see the wolves attempt this shot too often.

Unfortunately for us humans, we have to take that shot. So, any victims for day one

*cocks shotgun*

It's only lynched players that get revived.

Also, only the target dies to the shotgun.

Logic dictates that you must be a wolf.  Maelstrom.
anyway as far as I can tell it's impossible for a wolf to be green so bird's definitely human.  However, once he gets wolfed he can't be revived, unless we lynch him

Alright, I actually don't have the patience to wait and see who else voted to seer Latios212, so I'm just going to go ahead and post.

I created two mini-alliances last night, one with AwesomeYears and BlackDragonSlayer, and one with Latios212 and Nocturne of Shadow. Each of these mini-alliances thought I was only conspiring with them, and wasn't aware of the existence of the other. In the AY/BDS mini-alliance, we agreed to vote to seer the_last_sheikah, and in the NoS/L212 mini-alliance, we agreed to vote to seer Latios212. I should note that I originally proposed MaestroUGC as the seer target of this group, but Nocturne was paranoid about Latios and I, so we seered Latios212 instead. Everybody in these mini-alliances agreed to vote to seer the target.

That gives us the following spread of seer votes:

AwesomeYears -> the_last_sheikah
Latios212 -> Latios212
BlackDragonSlayer -> the_last_sheikah
NocturneOfShadow -> Latios212
Bird -> Latios212
Yugi -> Maestro
MaestroUGC -> Bird

Which leaves 3 votes unaccounted for. If those unaccounted for votes could claim them, that would be very helpful.

Now, what does this mean in relation to the wolfing?

I think it's pretty clear that NocturneOfShadow is a wolf. Latios212 strikes me as a very strange wolfing... unless you received some kind of intel suggesting that that player would be seered. Which NocturneOfShadow did, of course! I went into some detail when Latios212 expressed concern about the plan I brought to the two of them. Latios noted that since the seer was determined by random drawing, we wouldn't effectively be able to control the seer target. I then told both Latios212 and Nocturne that I was sure the majority of players would forget to send in their seer vote PMs. From a wolf's point of view, this is a perfect opportunity to eliminate the threat of being seered and prevent the humans from getting information about the game.

Furthermore, I think it's very possible that the fourth person who voted to seer Latios212 is Nocturne's partner. That's why I was so desperate to find out that information in my previous post, and probably the reason why I should have held off on posting this. I think by this same logic, the two people (Maestro and someone else) who voted to seer me are probably human, since the wolves would have wanted to wolf their n1 seer target (or at least paint them). So yeah, let's figure out those votes.

Bird, I'm not following your logic.
First, how do you know that Latios seered himself?
also, wouldn't seering yourself be a bad thing? If you're a human with bullet proof vest, it'll just leave you for a prime target by the wolves.
If you're a wolf, I guess you can claim being painted, though I dont know how far that argument would run.
Secondly, why would the wolves both seer and kill Latios? Wouldn't it defeat the purpose of the whole wolfing thingambob?

Well bird I'm not gonna lie that makes a lot of sense, except for the part where you say I'm a wolf. I have to pin this one down to pure luck on the wolves' part for hitting latios.
Unfortunately now that you've been seered green I feel a bandwagon coming on :P
just be sure to revive me this time before we make another catastrophic day 1 NoS lynch, k guys?

oh yeah and bird, how bad at this game do you think I am?  If I was a wolf, then I think I would be wary of the exact thing you pointed out...

me, bird, and latios all sent in a seering vote on latios- we agreed to do this beforehand.  Bird wanted to send in a seering on Maestro, but I was wary of wolf shenanigans and wanted to seer one of the two "random" players that I was discussing with.
A wolf can only paint a target red- that means a green seering is automatically a human.

@Sqwerrels

Latios212 told me that he was seering himself. Here's the PM he sent me:
Quote from: Latios212 on April 06, 2015, 01:22:06 PMSeering me is fine. I'll vote for that I guess.
And the four Latios votes in the thread match the four in Mashi's update PM, corroborating this fact.

I don't know why Latios212 agreed to seer himself, but that doesn't really matter since he's a confirmed human at this point. Wolves aren't going to wolf themselves as the revive only works on lynched players.

The wolves would both kill and seer Latios since they want the seering to provide as little information to the humans as possible. The best way to do that is to make sure the seer target ends up dead. I suspected from very early on that the wolves would attack their own seer targets!

@Nocturne

Not trying to offend you or anything, I just think think the pieces fit together pretty well! Especially for a day 1 vote anyway. We aren't going to insta or start shooting you (yet) and there's plenty of time left in the phase. I guess I can't speak for everyone though.

AwesomeYears -> the_last_sheikah
Latios212 -> Latios212
BlackDragonSlayer -> the_last_sheikah
NocturneOfShadow -> Latios212
Bird -> Latios212
Yugi -> Maestro
MaestroUGC -> Bird
the_last_sheikah -> the_last_sheikah
Sqwerrels -> Latios212

maelstrom - nobody

This leaves the last Bird seer vote to mariolegofan. As I said before, I think that the people who voted to seer me are almost definitely human -- wolves would paint or wolf their seer target. So let's not shoot mariolegofan for no reason, alright?

the_last_sheikah: Why did you vote to seer yourself?

Suspicion List
1. Nocturne of Shadow
2. Sqwerrels
3. BlackDragonSlayer - Took a long time to get back to my seer plan PM. Maybe he was talking it over with his partners?
4. AwesomeYears - Took a long time to get back to my seer plan PM. Maybe he was talking it over with his partners?
5. Yugi - No idea.
6. Maelstrom - No idea.
7. the_last_sheikah - I don't know why a human would vote to seer himself, but I would be even more baffled by a wolf doing the same thing.
8. mariolegofan - Voted to seer me - a wolf would have painted their seering target.
9. MaestroUGC - Voted to seer me - a wolf would have painted their seering target.
10. Latios212
11. Bird

And two other random ideas I had:
 - What are everyone's thoughts on lynching me, then reviving me n3? It would force the wolves to target an unconfirmed player tonight rather than me, helping us decide who to target for our next seerings/lynches.
 - If not that, what do you guys think of using a different seering plan next phase? Like, I'll privately pick two other people, and the three of us will pick a seer target, then nobody else votes on the seering? I dunno.

Honestly Bird, If I had to ask you for the reason on why wolves would seer and kill the same person, I dont think I wouldve been able to come up with that elaborate strategy you had.

As for your other ideas, I think it's a good idea to lynch you and then bring you back, less we accidentally bring back a lynched wolf. We currently only have sneaking suspicions for who the wolves are and it may not be the best idea to lynch at random.

As for your voting plan, I guess it's probably the closest we get to an organized inspection on one person, but would we auto shoot/lynch the person if they're seered red, due to the fact that the wolves can paint 2(?) people each night?
Seems logical though, the seering thing. I'll refrain from sending a seering vote this night.
Title: Re: TWG 78: Troll-tan's Great Adventure
Post by: Bird on April 07, 2015, 07:10:58 AM
Well Sqwerrels, unfortunately we can't do both the seer plan and the lynching me this phase plan this phase. Since if I'm lynched, I'm not going to be able to organize a group of trustworthy players to get someone seered. I think my preference would be to be lynched this phase, then do the seer thing on night 4 once I've been brought back on night 3.

And I'm actually having second thoughts on the Nocturne thing. I mean, it would be a kind of obvious mistake for a wolf to make. Someone says so-and-so is definitely going to be seered, and you're one of the few players who knows that information... and then you wolf him? It would be a pretty stupid mistake to make, and I'm honestly quite surprised that nobody has defended Nocturne at this point.

I don't know if I'm going to come up with a better suspicion (BDS maybe?) before the end of the phase though.

Couldnt we have organized one now, before you get lynched and then have select two people and make them send votes? Having you as a third seerer doesnt actually do much, due to the fact that we've pretty much gotten you confirmed. If the others abstain from voting then, the plan should still work as intended, no?

2 Too many people to pick from, and at this point in the game, any information is good information

Oh. Yeah, I didn't think of that. There's still a few problems with the plan (i.e. the seering works by drawing rather than majority, so if the wolves target someone else, it still won't work) but it sounds like something good for now.

As this phase progresses, I'll try to identify some really human-seeming players to target a suspicious player this night phase, and everybody else can not send in a vote. Currently, I'm thinking three people should be enough to influence the seer target.

Nocturne -> Nocturme [TBD]

Votes:
Nocturne -> Maelstrom
Bird -> Nocturne
AwesomeYears -> Nocturne
mariolegofan -> Nocturne (not sure if vote counts)
Bird -> Bird
Nocturne -> AwesomeYears

I'm starting to doubt the Nocturne bandwagon. At this point, I think he's probably human, along with Maelstrom and Maestro. If MLF voted to seer me, he's probably human too. I'm also getting human vibes from Sqwirrel.

After giving it some thought, I think that the_last_sheikah is fairly suspicious. I think voting to seer yourself is actually a pretty good strategy for a wolf. For starters, it's pretty unlikely that you'll actually be seered since it's just a single vote. If you aren't seered, you'll get human points for voting to seer yourself (why would a wolf do that?) And if you are seered, you can say the exact same thing: why would I vote to seer myself if I were a wolf?

On top of that, it's just a baffling decision. Even if I knew nothing about the game or its players, I would be much more interested in learning someone else's color, even if you're just randomly picking a player.

BDS and AwesomeYears are also both suspicious. I sent them a PM and they didn't respond for like 12 hours. Then I sent another reminder PM and they responded immediately. If they read my original mini-alliance PM, why didn't they respond then? Or even after a little while? Why did I have to send them an additional PM? I think that if one of them is a wolf, it's possible that they didn't respond immediately since they wanted to talk it over with their partners. Additionally, I know that I personally have a habit of not responding to stuff like that if I'm a wolf.

Yugi is fourth place for being entirely absent. where u @

Game starts suddenly Sunday night, I had enough time to find out we started, but not enough to start analyzing every frivolous start-of-game post because I had work to do, I come back Monday, everyone is pointing fingers for arbitrary reasons and I have nothing to add, so I don't.  I send my PM to seer myself because I know I have a 2/8 chance of being a human w/ bullet proof vest, if I can find that out, even if it's a slim chance, that could help the human team.  Now I recognize the innate problem of me being painted, but in the same logic for the finger pointing, why would I be painted when I made very little presence and other people were more likely to be seer'd.  Again, I realize this was a poorly conceived plan, but I didn't have much to work with either.

I was not online at all between the time you sent the PM, and the time I replied. And, no, my response was not "right after" you sent the reminder- my reply was at 4:29 PM, and you sent the "reminder" at 3:51 PM (4:29 being closer to the time I got on NSM).

Everyone else has made shots at random, does that mean that we're all the fool?

Though, the reason I gave you was legit, that is the sole reason I shot at you.

Title: Re: TWG 78: Troll-tan's Great Adventure

Not really, no. I just don't see the point to it, and it wastes a lynch that could go on a wolf.
Title: Re: TWG 78: Troll-tan's Great Adventure
Post by: Yugi on April 07, 2015, 07:11:21 PM
Although if we do make it to night 3, it means that we have a comfirmed human to send the potential wolf numbers down.
Title: Re: TWG 78: Troll-tan's Great Adventure
Post by: the_last_sheikah on April 07, 2015, 08:01:18 PM
By my math, we will make it to night 3 unless we win.
Best case scenario: We win before night 3.
Worst case scenario We kill no wolves, both shotguns kill, that leaves 2 wolves, 2 humans, and the fool, or 2 wolves 3 humans.
Best Worst case scenario: We kill no wolves, both shotguns hit bulletproof vests, that leaves 2 wolves, the fool, and 4 humans, or 2 wolves, 5 humans.

Simply based on the worst case scenario, lynching bird would have the best effect in the long run, as the 3 to 2 revive vote (assuming full participation) would bring him back with the best potential for an epic comeback.

That being said, I'm not going to vote to lynch just yet, I'd like everyone else to weigh in so we have some semblance of a plan.

Think about it this way: no matter who we lynch this phase, we're going to have the same number of players alive when day 3 begins. But if we lynch me, we can be certain that at least one of those players is a confirmed human. Additionally, with me being dead at the end of this phase, it forces the wolves to wolf an unconfirmed player rather.

basically what the_last_sheikah said

I thought of the bird plan from the get-go, but given my circumstances I didn't want to push it because it would make me even more coincidentally suspicious.  I mean, we have a very low chance of killing a wolf (unless we lynch AweYea) and we can always shoot our main lynch target and keep the "safe" lynch on bird (which also gives us a guaranteed revive later)

It would be fun to lynch/shoot AweYea+yugi to see if I'm right though L:

Nocturne/MLF, I don't know why you would be worried we're going to lose the game at this point. It's only day 1 and we haven't lynched/shot anyone yet. I actually feel pretty good about this game so far.

Anyway, everyone needs to vote for me. Well, without triggering an insta.

Also BDS and AwesomeYears have both been online since I said I wanted to shoot them, but neither of them have responded. I'll say this much: whichever one of you posts first will be much less likely to be shot.

@the_last_sheikah: Hahaha, that's gotta be so embarrassing. You took a huge gamble and it backfired completely! Is the shotgun the greatest TWG mechanic of all time or what?

Anyway, that also seems a tad suspicious. I'd say the_last_sheikah, BlackDragonSlayer, and Nocturne are my top three suspicions, going into the next day phase.

@BDS: Lots of the other players seemed human to the point where I was only deciding between you and AwesomeYears. After AwesomeYears sent me a human-seeming PM, I decided that you were a better target. I don't think this reasoning really came through, but they may have simply trusted me since I'm a confirmed human and they don't know who else they'd vote for.

Alright everyone, when picking your seering targets, keep in mind that I'm almost guaranteed to be painted given the circumstances.  Voting to seer me would be incredibly foolhardy because there's a 90% chance I'll be seered red.  Our options are to make a small alliance between one or two other people you trust and get a good target, at the cost of them being more likely to get painted; or we simply vote evenly across all players to lessen the impact of the painting, at the cost of getting an unimportant seering.

If we go for the random plan:
Most likely to be wolf/painted
Me
AweYea
BDS
Sheikah

anyone else should be okay to vote for??

otherwise without confirmed humans on the board you're just gonna have to trust the gut and pick like 2 people to group up with.
Just try not to vote for me, for obvious reasons.

I was going to hold off on doing this until Mashi answered my question, but I have received no answer, and thus am forced to make a decision.

I am the Fool. Last night, I seered Maestro red (I chose AwesomeYears for the ballot box seering). As a reward for finding somebody who is very likely a wolf (I did not think he would be painted, hence why I seered him), I ask you to lynch me (I'm going to take a guess and say that my win condition is not overriding, given that it was not mentioned), and you can shoot Maestro.

Shall I start?

Shoot MaestroUGC

50% chance they were panted, but you have a good point. It's the best we have to go on. I would like to know for certain if the fool's victory is overriding before we shoot him and lynch you.

SO, couple things to make point of, first off, welcome back Bird.
Second, I'll seer claim right now, I voted to seer AY, unfortunately, my incredible luck continues.
Third, the last wolf has to be wearing the bullet proof vest, as Maestro was shot and revealed.

All this in mind, the potential shotgun targets are Maelstrom, Sqwerrels, and MLF, though the shot itself won't kill them, we will at least know who to lynch.
Potential risk: A human with bullet proof vest is still alive and we shoot them.
Reason it's not a risk: If we lynch them, we will still get another day phase/seering to find the wolf.
If we shoot and lynch a normal human: We lose. :(

I want to know who voted for Sqwerrels and I to be seer'd too, please speak now before you are drowned out by a volley of gunfire.

I voted for you to be seer'd. Yes, I know BDS said not to, but I was hoping that that statement would keep the wolves from painting you. Idk. May not have been the best choice in retrospect, but it doesn't matter now.

And thanks for the great seering, btw

I'm really curious as to what Bird thinks of how this game has gone.

And that's where my original plan would take place, if we shoot someone with a bullet proof vest, then lynch them, if its the wolf we win, if its a human, we live to see another day phase.God, does anyone ever read my plans?
Title: Re: TWG 78: Troll-tan's Great Adventure

Alright, here's my thinking on the remaining players:

Bird - Confirmed human.
Maelstrom - Voted to seer me on n1 when I wasn't painted. Pretty much confirmed to be human through this.
mariolegofan - Shot at Maestro immediately. Pretty much confirmed to be a human through this.
sqwirrel - Shot at Maestro immediately. Pretty much confirmed to be a human through this.

That leaves the_last_sheikah. I don't see any other options really.
Title: Re: TWG 78: Troll-tan's Great Adventure
Post by: Maelstrom on April 12, 2015, 07:58:22 PM
To tell the truth, shooting someone practically confirmed to be a wolf or at least someone suspicious immediately would not prove someone human. Inexperienced wolves can be all to quick to bandwagon against suspected partners.

Spoiler
   *** Lommy joined #NSMTWG
22:35      *** charmander joined #NSMTWG
22:35      *** charmander is now known as Bird
22:35   Sheikah   wait, oh ok bird
22:36   Sheikah   i was confused for a second
22:36   Bird
22:36   Bird   so let's see here...
22:36   Sheikah   Lommy what'chu doing here?
22:36   Bird   you suspect maelstrom
22:36   Bird   why is that?
22:37   Sheikah   well, first, he attempted to seer me after BDS said it would be a bad idea, and I agree with BDS
22:37      *** Lommy quit (Quit: http://www.mibbit.com ajax IRC Client)
22:38   Sheikah   second, the striked out comment he made could be taken in a freudian slip kinda way
22:38   Bird   why did bds say seering you would be a bad idea
22:38   Sheikah   other than that, gut
22:38   Sheikah   one sec, let me see
22:38   Sheikah   Also, don't seer Sheikah. I'm not sure if he's a human or not, but I think he's likely to be painted at this point; I would personally recommend lynching or shooting him (probably lynch if you don't get a red result) just to make sure.
22:39   Sheikah   said right before he died
22:39   Sheikah   page 14
22:39   Bird   of course, if people took his advice, the wolves wouldn't need to bother painting him
22:39   Bird   maybe that's what maelstrom was counting on
22:39   Bird   or maybe he totally forgot about all the painting stuff!
22:40   Bird   Anyway, he has something very important going in his favor, from my point of view.
22:40   Sheikah   ok, but what if hes the wolf, paints/seers me?
22:40   Bird   He voted to seer me on n1.
22:40   Bird   Why would a wolf do that? If he were a wolf voting to seer me, he would have painted me red as well.
22:41   Sheikah   so he tried to get on your good side early game, thats a tactic
22:41   Sheikah   and
22:41   Sheikah   if humans have someone to rally around, that makes it easier for him to get in good with the humans
22:42   Sheikah   i.e. you
22:42   Bird   wait hmm
22:42   Bird   let me think about this
22:42   Bird   do we actually know for sure who voted to seer me on day 1?
22:42   Bird   those players are all confirmed humans, but i think there are more people claiming to have done it than there are votes for it.
22:42   Sheikah   mind all of this, MLF isn't out of the question either
22:43   Sheikah   but that is also a very good point
22:43   Bird   yeah only two people actually voted for me
22:43   Bird   but maelstrom, bds, and maestro all said they voted for me
22:44   Sheikah   BOOM
22:44   Sheikah   one fool, one confirmed wolf
22:45   Sheikah   I don't actually know what this proves
22:45   Bird   maestro is the most likely to be lying about this
22:45   Bird   but who did he actually vote for then
22:45   Bird   that player is probably also human
22:45   Sheikah   Latios212 - 4 the_last_sheikah - 3 Bird - 2 MaestroUGC - 1
22:45   Sheikah   thats the spread
22:45   Bird   oh wait i'm just confused
22:46   Bird   i forgot that the fool had an additional seer
22:46      *** mib_ikuegg joined #NSMTWG
22:46   Bird   alright guess that didn't prove anything after all
22:46   Bird   so let me go into detail as to why i'm suspicious of you
22:46   Sheikah   he seerd Maestro remember?
22:46   Sheikah   the fool BDS
22:46   Bird   there's really just one major mark against you
22:47   Bird   the yugi shooting
22:47   Sheikah   that was a heavily unfortunate mistake on my part
22:47   Bird   I think that you, as a wolf, were worried that the popular BDS target would flip human (you didn't know he was the fool of course).
22:47   Bird   So you wanted to look like you never wanted to lynch BDS anyway. You said you wanted to shoot Yugi thinking there would no way it would actually happen
22:47   Sheikah   I was very busy last week
22:48   Bird   I think a busy human would just go with the flow of the game, to be honest.
22:49   Bird   Do we know who voted to seer who on night 2?
22:49   Sheikah   I have a history of playing rather...unorthodox methods
22:50   Sheikah   I didnt vote, I was with my girlfriend and forgot about the game
22:50   Bird   Also, I think MLF and sqwirrel are both human due to being really willing to shooting Maestro.
22:51   Bird   So yeah, from my point of view that really just leaves you.
22:52   Sheikah   I understand this, but you are incorrect
22:53   Bird   Well, feel free to make a case against any of the other players!
22:54   Sheikah   I agree sqwerrels is probably human
22:55   Sheikah   MLF could also be the wolf as bandwagoning on 2 agreed deaths would win him the game
22:55   Sheikah   you are human, no argument there
22:55   Sheikah   I know I'm human
22:55   Sheikah   and I've stated my case for Mael already
22:56   Bird   I don't know that your case against maelstrom is very clear to people in the thread
22:56   Sheikah   then I will post my case
22:57   Sheikah   should I just post the log of this?
22:57   Bird   I'd say... probably not
22:57   Bird   people never read logs!
22:58   Sheikah   fair point.  ABRIDGED VERSION WITH COMPLEMENTARY LOG GO!!!
[close]
Log of conversation with bird happening right now.

Abridged case against Maelstrom:
BDS, the fool, said not to seer me as I was a target, and Maelstrom ignored this.  If he was the wolf he could paint/seer me and I'd be at the end of everyone's gun.
Bird trusts him for seering him night 1, but there are 2 issues with that:
-a wolf would get on the human leader's good side early and could get away with suspicion later
-3 people claimed to seer Bird, only 2 actually did

End case, read log for full details.

I'd still like to talk to mlf, but for now this is where I'm at.

If that kills me, well f***.
If I get shot and survive, I'll just lynch myself cause that would figure for my luck this game.

Well, somebody surviving the shooting is the best case scenario for the humans. It means we get a lynching and a shooting next day phase, rather than the game ending next night phase.

Yes, and if I survive the responsible thing to do is kill myself.

Alright m80s, I just got word from Mashi that we can vote no lynch this phase. I think this is definitely what we should do. It will give us another day phase (which is basically a shooting AND a lynching) to work with, and another seer result.

No lynch

Sorry about that, sheikah. I promise to take a really close look at Maelstrom next day phase.

I don't want us to loose, but I don't got anything on mlf or sqwerrels.
In retrospect, we should have kept the jester alive longer to use his seer power more.
It's up to you bird. What do you say?

Good idea. Idk why I didn't think of that before.

Keeping the Fool alive probably wouldnt have helped because he would be likely to get wolfed at night and probably wouldnt have helped if we didnt help him win.

What we could do is keep up with seering and then revive him Night 5 (assuming game's still ongoing) and then use him. But that play requires a lot of time.

Despite all that's said and done, all our leads are kind of gone, barring Bird, the sole confirmed human.
But Im going to go ahead and vote for the No Lynch

Let's go for a Maelstrom seering. It's the least we can do after shooting sheikah. I'll send a PM out to the surviving players (so nobody forgets)  momentarily!
