Question:
A Forum Should Be Created Specifically for the Randomness For Which we have all come to love?
Option 1: Aye-this would be a good idea
Option 2: Nay-I do not like the randomness, or I want it the way it used to be
I made my suggestion and it's point quite clear in this thread (http://www.ninsheetmusic.net/forum/index.php?topic=25.msg601;boardseen#new). I support this notion. I think that the admins should take action with this when the way more important things are solved with the site(first, of course).

AYE!
Now, I do believe we had a place for this before:
- The Post Your Thoughts of the Moment Thread
- Polls Board (made just for our random polls)
Everything was fine. Nobody argued. All the peoples were happy.
i agree with everything Hugo just said
Exactly, and if we were to make an entire universal forum specifically for all random polls and topics of the sort, then it would all be organized for everyone to find.
~Nakah
Aye, there is nothing wrong with the randomness, just keep it contained.
If by randomness you mean spam then it's an absolute NO.
the admin(s) will not make a thread/board/forum dedicated to spam no matter how much you whine and complain.
No, it would just end up being a useless spam area like the old poll section. We don't need any of those with the current size of our member base.

Isn't this topic kinda pointless if there's already a topic about the random polls?
If this doesn't say "FAIL" I don't know what does...

I've seen it done on multiple boards that I've joined, usually succesful.
Yes, boards that have the need for that with 100+ active members.

Quote from: Nakah on February 25, 2008, 09:15:24 PMThere's nothing wrong with allowing people to make random bs like the polls and crap before. Nearly half of the community stays jut for that. If restricting it is implemented, we're going to lose a lot of members that will just lose interest, and at what cost?
Make a garbage forum. A Trash Bin of some sorts for this shit.

~Nakah
Polls forum was lame.
RANDOM POLL #31.415!
Then make your post count stay the same when posting in it!
DUH!
I don't care about the post count.
I'm with JM. It seems you'll have to say farewell to your randomnessity then.
The polls forum was a test to see how the forum would hold up to randomness spam. I believe it failed.
Cancelling the post count does not matter. You are basically asking the moderating team to give you guys a playground so you can run around, party, and drink beer.
There are other forums for that. I suggest keeping the forum the way it is.
If a decent amount of the community wants it, and making a seperate forum for all that won't harm anything, then why not?

Tell me, what is truly wrong with that. This is the internet. The internet is not some boring place with excessive rules.
I totally agree with what Nakah said.....different forum...like the sister forum we were talking about before the site went down
Evilsqueaky has a good point. What's wrong with a place with less strict rules? Didn't we all join the forums so we could talk and have fun anyway?

Everyone who shares the same opinion as you has a good point according you. =')
Really, I'm not going to discuss with you guys any longer about this matter.

so it's settled then? no more randomness? i disagree with the decision, but if that's how it's gonna be i think we'll all survive.
*gives up arguing
for now*
