Hello everybody!
I'm kinda new here... so um... hi.
I was playing pokemon y and just realized the absolute epicness of this song, and was wondering if there was anyway to have an arrangement of it.
Here's a link to a 30 minute version of it.

If there was any way to have an arrangement of this, it would make my day
Thanks!
Welcome!!
Great song choice :)
I would love to take this....but I have a huge to-do list and have a lot to do.
Im sure someone else will do it :)
I was re playing the game and was like "wow! This is a route. I'm not expecting much" I think this would have been good as the victory road theme.
Welp if only I could arrange good ;-;
I couldn't arrange music if my life defended on it. Maybe if no one here can do it (I'm sure someone can) then my super awesome band teacher would do it.

I could try but Im bad
I'm sick of people complaining about being bad at arranging instead of putting in effort to get better
It's a beautiful song though.

Haha I'm practicing though don't be so quick to judge ;)
I'm not going to arrange it, but if you're interested, here's a really pretty string orchestra version of that piece:

He's talking about me :-X
I'm not talking about you! You arrange music all the time, which is a really good thing :)
I just hate when people say "I'm bad at arranging so I won't even attempt it whine blah blah." Yeah because the rest of us started out as flawless arrangers and needed no practice

I know.
Before I started arranging, I always said that :)

He could be saying he doesn't want to do an arrangement for the site until he's more comfortable arranging in general. That's the case for me anyway.

Oh come on! :)
No one was worse than me when they started :P
You should Nocturne and Zoroark :)
By the way, how is Coconut Mall coming?
^Lol, when I first started, I couldn't tell the difference between a P8 and a M3. And slow, I don't think it's all that terrible as long as they're arranging SOMETHING (if you can't arrange music, the only way to learn how is to try.)
I actually have this one mostly done already, so I'll let you know when I have it finished :D
And I mean, as far as not being good enough to arrange certain things, there are a looottt of pieces I put off until I was better at arranging, and still some that I don't feel I'd be able to do enough justice. I agree with firearrow, as long as they're arranging SOMETHING and not just writing off ALL arranging because they're not good at it, they should be fine.
I'd recommend starting with simpler 8-bit soundtracks that you like. Even if it's pretty fast, dealing with a texture like that that isn't super thick, and transcribing that sort of counterpoint, is great ear training. I know I was pretty shitty before I worked on transcribing a bunch of Pokemon Pinball songs; there are a bunch of arrangements in my thread that I'm not so proud of, which I should really go back and fix XD
And that's after only being on here for...I wanna say 7 months, now? Yeah, it doesn't matter if you're doing super complicated stuff, or doing it extremely well, just as long as you're doing SOMETHING.
Thanks everyone. I haven't had time to get on due to the play for school... but thanks guys. I'll give arranging a shot when this play is over.
bump
Bubbles, y u bump good songs. I can't just choose one to arrange .-.
then do them all so you wont have to make a difficult decision!!
I actually kind of want to arrange this but
1. I don't want to ruin a good song
2. I'll probably drop it halfway
3. FierceDeity said he was almost done it
This one was next on my list I swear haha, I just gotta finish this blasted film score first
Wow, I suck at timeliness
This didn't even take that long to finish, I just procrastinated the fuck out of it
Here you go.
