It's been a while since I have come on here, school and extra-curriculars have been keeping me very busy. I'm sorry if anyone is expecting the entire Minecraft soundtrack, I am hard at work on that, in the free time that I have. I am hoping to release Cat soon! Thank you for checking out my arrangements, and stay tuned for more!

More on the way!!
Welcome to the forums.
Thanks! Do you want PDF and MIDI files? I realize i forgot them.
Welcome! If you're interested in contributing to the Ninsheet site, take a look at these Formatting Guidelines (http://www.ninsheetm.us/smf/index.php?topic=481.0). Hope to see more of your arrangements!

Yes. MIDIs and PDFs would be nice. :P
JDMEK y u no have notepad?
I do. Finale Notepad 2012, nothing else (as far as finale goes...)
I can't find the PDF creator in the File print menu (I have Finale PrintMusic 2012) and to top that off I can't find the forum post that helped me create PDFs! Help?

have you installed said pdf creator? if so, have you exited and re-opened finale?
Reopening worked, thanks.
Just one more question, how do you get it to appear as [MUS] [MIDI] [PDF] instead of the actual link?
Quote from: Winter on December 06, 2011, 12:00:54 AMIt's simple. First use

Next, write the text you want to appear followed by
Mus
It will look like this before you post it
Mus
And this afterwards:
Mus (http://mediafire.com/skdjghskdf)
Remember those steps, I'll show you again with the {} brackets.
{url=LINK GOES HERE}THE TEXT YOU WANT US TO SEE GOES HERE{/url}
And all the coding is orange.
Of course, I probably made it look hard.

TEXT
Replace URL with the url and TEXT with whatever you want it to say
Might I recommend that you put it in a zip file.
Well I have WinRAR but I have no idea how to use it... anyway,
Game Corner Duet updated files are here (http://www.mediafire.com/?w93oav6s24l1lk7,pker1bf8298d15q,b9s7v9ach21nhii)
that should be mus, midi, and pdf.
Grass, here (http://www.mediafire.com/?7y2rmv7hlew2yh2,rgb3aye6fyetm61,zzr7xd7x6zrs91q)
and
Magma Flows Jazz, here (http://www.mediafire.com/?n2m8weeqd8v2rq4,1e9xet4cz1kjjw4,5tnswiakb73sgi9)
Enjoy!
To make things easier for you, and for people looking through your thread, you should Modify your first post on the top of page 1 every time you make a new arrangement. In this case, the best thing you could do right now is to modify your first post to have MUS, MIDI, and PDF links to your arrangements using the new technique you just learned.
Wow you're good!
You should do as Bespinben said - Modify your top post to have the MUS, MIDI and PDF links - It'll look way neater :)
I've added three more arrangements! Even though it is "Nin" SheetMusic, I couldn't help but do a song from Minecraft because the soundtrack to that game is awesome! I hope that is okay.
Omg you do minecraft!!! :D yes yes yes yes!

(unfortunately, my internet security settings block Mediafire, so I can't look at your arrangement :/)

What is it with you and your NO reactions?! :P
...because it's the only adequate way to communicate my utter despair over not not being able to see this person's PMD arrangement D:
sorry about that! is there any other way I can link to files on the forum??
Use dropbox. It's very efficient and doesn't have the whole "loading screen" thing like mediafire. Plus no ads and free.
I downloaded that and I'm setting everything up now.
Cool! Do more minecraft, btw!
Planning on it. I was actually thinking of a long term project to do the entire soundtrack!

I wanna kiss you on the forehead <3
Come on Jompa, cant we take it slow? Ive only just met you.
Yeah, at least buy him dinner first!
Sorry fellas, I don't swing that way - I merely wanted to express my excitement over having a forum member willing to do the entire soundtrack!(?) :D
Really, I wanna kiss you on the forehead
Ha i'm just kidding. Well I assume you don't get many people doing a whole soundtrack, since most games have at least like 25 songs!

That's true. You'll mostly see games from the NES since there are generally fewer songs and they're generally easier.
Err, Duffy? I think you should make a post each time you update the top-post, to let everyone know you have new arrangements. I saw "Moog City" and "Key" by total coincidence - I wouldn't have found them otherwise. So please :)
everyone else: DUFFY HAS TWO NEW ARRANGEMENTS!! :D COME AND SEE!
Also: Especially in your Moog City arrangement, you kinda write "impossible". Take measure#17 for instance: How the hell are you supposed to play that on the left hand there? Unless you are some kinda hugenormous-handed freak, then that's not really possible. You gotta fix the places where the chords are too big for the hand to play.
Some places the notes go abit far above/below the staff. I'm not sure about which notation program you're using, but it's not NotePad (I can tell because the measure numbers are displayed). To make it more readable I suggest you use the 8va/8vb tool to clean stuff up - Assuming you have a better version of Finale than NotePad, it should be possible.
Your arrangements are great! Keep doing Minecraft, it's awesome! :D
Lol, measure 17 i have no idea, i guess i just thought those were 6ths and octaves? idk why.. I finished Moog City at around 11:30 last night so I guess i was tired.
Also I have PrintMusic which is the next version of Finale above notepad. I dont personally think the 8vb is necessary because all of those are just octaves, but i will add it in just to clear up any confusion! Thanks a lot for the feedback.
by the way, New Minecraft Arrangement, Subwoofer Lullaby
Awesome! Do Cat next! That song is cool.
Ahh Cat..I was gonna save that for last :P ive been trying to figure out what that rhythm is at the beginning, but i have no idea! help!
I just wanted to let everyone know why i havent been putting out any arrangements recently, this is because I have marching band from 9-6 every day for the next two weeks. (I play snare in case anyone was wondering :) It's very exhausting, especially because my director adds on an extra hour to band each year, so when I was a freshman, it was only 8-5! This year is going to be very hard for me too, because of the difficulty of my schedule. Sorry if anyone was looking forward to Minecraft arrangements, I will get the next one out as soon as I can! Thanks for understanding.
Mayor Duffy
I like your arrangement of the "Item Bounce" from Kirby Air Ride. I was thinking of doing it myself but you beat me to it! (Well done!)
My comments are the following:
1) It feels like it's missing a few grace notes. Area where it struck me: measures 34 to repeat. But there are others.
Filling in those grace notes will go a long way to capturing that original feel..
2) Check those weird notes in the right hand at measures 8 and 24. The reason I know it sounds off is because I listen to this song every day. :P
It almost feels like there should be a little mordent there. Maybe from the B or Bb to the C and back.
3) My last comment is on those trills in measures 14, 15, 30, and 31. They sound a whole tone (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whole_tone) higher than they should be. Same goes for that eighth note directly before. The F and D. Take another look at that.
Anyways, those are my thoughts on that one. Way to go though! That one isn't easy..
ah the grace notes.. I tried to put them in but something about my finale makes them sound really bad! thanks a lot for the other feedback, I will fix that stuff hopefully tomorrow if i have time!
I've added "How She Sees the World" from Bioshock 2, a great, short, melancholy song that I love listening to and playing on piano. If any of you are percussionists like me, it functions as a great four-mallet vibes solo!
Cheers,
Mayor Duffy
