Title: Pyre's Fire Emblem arrangements (Any requests?)
Post by: Pyre on July 06, 2009, 09:20:19 PM
I made an account about a year ago, but never really did anything with it. I just did some arranging, so I figured I'd put them here!

If I'm doing anything wrong wrong with mediafire (Never use it before), or not putting this topic in the right section or something like that (I read the rules, but am still a little unsure), I apologize. Just lemme know how I can fix it!

This is a medley of some songs from Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. I can break up the songs if that's needed. I just like it as a medley.

FE: The Sacred Stones: Gentle Prince (A medley of songs including Lyon (Organ Arrangement), Lyon, Lost Heart, and The Prince's Despair)

Thanks for looking!

EDIT:
I've done most of the FE stuff I've planned to do, so now I'll ask if there are any certain FE songs people would like done? Preferably from the GBA games and earlier (Arranging the Path of Radiance song by ear was a nightmare. I'm going to stick with the easier stuff for now. :p Though I *might* have one more PoR song to do. We'll see)

Just post the name of the song, what game it's from, and a (Good) recording of it, and I'll see what I can do.

Welcome to this site =)
First thing I wanna ask you, does your name come from Mt. Pyre from Ruby/Sapphire ::)?

I have some things that I would like to say, but it's hard to judge if I don't got any material so could you please send us a Mp3 or youtube link where we can compare (since I don't know the song)?
The link is fine, the sheet looks good, so it's OK as far as I can judge.

You can PM one of the admins if you have questions (or you can PM me)

Haha, no. I've never been asked that before. It would take some explaining, but it's actually an original thing.  :P

Do you mean links to the original songs?

Here's a good library of them. This is a GBA game, so it's all MIDI or whatever.

I was disappointed in the amount of Fire Emblem stuff here, so I had to do this. :p

What about the fabled Main Theme? It's one of the more epic video game songs out there, yet we don't have it.

Thanks in advance!

Hmm.... But which one? From which game?!

I'll look around. :p

What about the SSBB version?

Have fun! And don't bother looking for the lyrics, they aren't on the Net yet.

I would, but like I said, I really suck at doing actual orchestrated stuff. I'm probably going to stick with the old MIDI songs.

...so you can copypasta the midi?

But no, I see what you mean.  Easier to distinguish a melody and bass and such.

Here is the same song, in an earlier game, with a more recognizable melody and bass.

I have no idea how to copy the midi. I've seen it talked about here, but that's beyond me. I do it all by ear; mostly for practice so I can write my own stuff easier.
