Hi. I wonder, concerning the release date (in the copyright info). Should you take the first year it was released, or the North American release date?

Edit: looked a bit on the sheets (and the pokémon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum project) and it seems like we go with the first release year (which ever that is, if it's JP or something else (usually JP)). So I go with that.

To clarify, yes, we go with the earliest release date.
