Way better. ;) http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=xNvbPzSTpPI

Yeah, it's not Brawl, but you can't not love it.  Otherwise you have no soul.

You don't have a soul, do you?

Does the above need to be in spoilers evilsqueaky?
If they block it on the official site, I dunno if it should be available for discussion.

Haha. Alrighty then.
That being the case, I think Cpt. Falcon's punch being reversible is uber awesome. No more cheap dodgers.
What are your guys favorite music? I definately like the Golden Sun piece, and a couple of the Zelda songs are very cool. Metroid took a big step up from Melee as well.

the Zelda medley is so... EPIC. it's just... wow. you know?

and this isn't exactly Captain Falcon, but Falcon Kick (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrJ47f-uIJU)

oh, @shadoninja's video: that video makes Captain Falcone look like a jerk, he kills like 7 pikmin.

yea the zelda medley is so cool. I like it how they put a lot of the favorite songs from OOT together. All the songs are cool.

Music? Well, right now I'm listening to Theme of Samus Aran, Space Warrior. But all of it is pretty darn good, with very few exceptions.
My favorite? Live and Learn!!!
...And then Corneria. Then Seven Rings in Hand. And the list continues.

I might have to postpone it...I bought a car instead.
But has everyone seen the list of Assist Trophies, Items, and Pokemon? They are decent I think.

The music library is INSANE!!! So are some of the new characters! I'm still hoping for some Square characters to show up! (Sora anyone?)
Title: Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl
Post by: pumpy_heart on February 23, 2008, 01:41:15 PM
I'm pretty sure Sakarai said in an interview that no other third party characters even asked to be in Brawl...
So...I'm pretty sure Sora is out.

the full roster is known already... no characters are available through dl or other means...

the list of assist trophies is pretty poor if you ask me... they could have probably added a few more...

and i really didn't want any other third party characters, so...

Post by: pumpy_heart on February 23, 2008, 03:59:24 PM
We know the character roster for Japan.
There is a very strong rumor going around that Roy and Mewtwo will be included in Brawl for US.
I'll try to find a link, but the guy who stated this to begin with also released brawl info such as AT before anyone else did. Plus he has leaked for other games.
I wouldn't count out any characters except 3rd party ones for the US. And Pichu. It was said that Pichu was never talked about for consideration for Brawl.
Title: Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl
Post by: Shiny Boy on February 23, 2008, 05:21:41 PM
It would sure be nice if they expanded the Assist Trophy and Pokemon collection for the US release. That and maybe a few characters. I mean, what's their excuse for such a long delay between Japan and US releases?

are you talking about tfox? he apparently leaked advance wars days of ruin info and apparently had a source that roy and mewtwo were in the game... some people also think that ike and lucario will just get palette switches to roy and mewtwo...

however, most people don't believe this because why, WHY would america get characters that japan would not? it could work out, but it seems pretty odd...

and i believe the excuse for the delay was to translate, make enough copies to satisfy pre-orders and have it on the shelves on release day...
Title: Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl
Post by: pumpy_heart on February 23, 2008, 06:57:09 PM
Translation makes the most sense for the change of time.
Palette switches would work...A little lame, but it would work. Lucario is a little similar to Mewtwo. And Roy is very similar to Ike, so palette switches would work.
Title: Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl
Post by: Shiny Boy on February 23, 2008, 07:53:27 PM
Hadn't thought of that, blah54. I guess it's true that they weren't able to fulfill all the pre-orders in Japan. I heard the release "snuck up" on Nintendo.
Title: Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl
Post by: razer84 on February 24, 2008, 10:02:47 AM
i seriously doubt that the US version will be any different than the Japanese version, except for the translations.

EDIT: i'm the first non-newbie!!!! w00tage!
Title: Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl
Post by: Shiny Boy on February 24, 2008, 10:21:33 AM
Yeah, you're probably right. But the only people that need translation from the Japanese version are Pit and Sonic.
However. It would be nice if Ike didn't sound like he was talking through peanut-butter on his FS. "Graayy! Ayytaahh!"
Lucas and Ness could use some brushing-up on the FS vocals.
Title: Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl
Post by: razer84 on February 24, 2008, 11:14:54 AM
yeah, Ness sounds like he's saying "pe-ay saarstore!"
Title: Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl
Post by: Shiny Boy on February 24, 2008, 04:50:02 PM
Actually, Ness sounded ok, except the voice was disembodied. But. MAJOR emphasis on the wrong syllable.
Title: Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl
Post by: The Mindzeye on February 24, 2008, 05:31:12 PM
There is no possibility of Roy and Mewtwo being in Brawl because all the versions have to be compatible with each other online.
Title: Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl
Post by: Shiny Boy on February 24, 2008, 05:57:47 PM
Should have thought of that.
But why are there FEWER Assist Trophies than there are characters? Same with Pokemon. Both are probably pretty easy to program, so I don't see why they stopped with what they have.
Title: Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl
Post by: pumpy_heart on February 24, 2008, 07:56:55 PM
Just to note, Pokemon D/P was the first game compatible online for all countries.
I don't think American/European Brawl has to work with Japanese versions...

the past few days have had some really lame updates (picachu's special moves, really?) but today's takes the cake. it's not spoilerish at all, so don't be afraid:

As you play through The Subspace Emissary, you’ll probably become aware of the "Clear %" displayed in the upper part of the screen.

(https://www.ninsheetmusic.org/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.smashbros.com%2Fen_us%2Fgamemode%2Fmodea%2Fimages%2Fmodea14%2Fmodea14_080227a-l.jpg&hash=ba1cfe966fce4dd4dc9608cf2073a01d4ddaca39)
This is what I’m talking about.

This tells you roughly how much of The Subspace Emissary you have completed. Of course, the most you can do is 100%.

When this figure is on display, you just want to keep increasing it more and more, don’t you?

Here’s how to do it.

  1. Open All Unopened Doors

What I mean is, go everywhere. Enter every place you can, including hidden doors.

However, there may be some places where you may not be able to go everywhere, like in the hidden area on the "Lake" stage.

(https://www.ninsheetmusic.org/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.smashbros.com%2Fen_us%2Fgamemode%2Fmodea%2Fimages%2Fmodea14%2Fmodea14_080227b-l.jpg&hash=6bc87d9207b12f1d0a97079801b7f293a56fbde3)
Here we go, a hidden door! You can go between two different worlds!

  Clear the Stages

Of course, this is a big way to increase your clear percentage.

(https://www.ninsheetmusic.org/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.smashbros.com%2Fen_us%2Fgamemode%2Fmodea%2Fimages%2Fmodea14%2Fmodea14_080227c-l.jpg&hash=847498d39a5201e683ec45d45afdea7c0ca93f91)
Here you take a look at all your stickers and trophies.

  3. Get the Orange Cube Items

(https://www.ninsheetmusic.org/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.smashbros.com%2Fen_us%2Fgamemode%2Fmodea%2Fimages%2Fmodea14%2Fmodea14_080227d-l.jpg&hash=59de5f161deac422d9a7f34631e2f04b76e290b0)
This is an orange cube.

These cubes contain valuable items and will not reappear once you get them. Finding the boxes and getting their treasures is another way to increase your clear percentage.

Also, items that are different from orange cubes occasionally appearâ€"these also affect the clear percentage.

  4. Get Character Trophies

Well, I can’t really go into detail about these... Err... (Ahem!) Obviously though, there’s something important about them. If you’ve got them all by the end, there won’t be any problems.

Once you clear a stage, the map point will get a flag or a crown.

(https://www.ninsheetmusic.org/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.smashbros.com%2Fen_us%2Fgamemode%2Fmodea%2Fimages%2Fmodea14%2Fmodea14_080227e-l.jpg&hash=3032818302f90720bf113033431ee4a44dfdb733)
Both flags and crowns are proof that you’ve cleared a stage.

A flag means that you haven’t gotten all the things listed above for that stage. A crown means that the stage has been completely cleared.

In order to earn a complete victory, try your best to find all the doors and open all the orange cubes!

(https://www.ninsheetmusic.org/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.smashbros.com%2Fen_us%2Fgamemode%2Fmodea%2Fimages%2Fmodea14%2Fmodea14_080227f-l.jpg&hash=9aaf645915414800783232f99bf22d27e7d3221f)
Sometimes you might even feel we were a little mean!

What kind of items might be contained within Orange Boxes?

maybe trophies, cds, stickers... those sorts of things... or maybe they unlock other paths etc...

Yeah, it's average score is still like 97.8 percent, pretty darn good these days.
A friend of mine says that one of the only objections one reviewer had was that it was too easy to beat Samus using Captain Olimar. Personally I thought Olimar would suck, so it's nice that the characters are still balanced.

Quote from: razer84 on March 04, 2008, 03:44:20 AMBrawl got a 9.5 on IGN, still great, but i was actually thinking they might give it a 10. oh well, i don't care what anyone says, i'm buying the game on Sunday.

ign doesnt give the 10 out any more... and frankly very few games actually deserve it, not to mention that in the grand scheme of things, brawl is incredibly fun, but not a "great" game persay...

Holy crap. Meta Knight and Darth Vader not only have the same voice, but they have VERY similar catchphrases too. I mean. "Know my power." "You have much yet to learn."
...And when he says Destiny it sounds...Spanish...

I wouldn't be worried either, where I live. But I preordered it because the closest place to get games at MSRP is 80 miles and a two hour drive away. Even though I have good friends there. Stupid me!
If I have a chance to buy it, I might just sell the preordered one, since I got free shipping on it.

played way too much brawl... beaten subspace thingie and i only have two more chars to unlock...

compared to melee it seems more "noob" friendly, so to speak... but it's still really fun to play... im glad they added all these coop elements into the game, it makes it more enjoyable at times...

To get away from Pit's Forward B, go in the direction that Pit is facing (IE pit facing left, you go left)...
It's not that hard to dodge. Most pit noobies also do not expect dodges. All you need to do is dodge to the other side, then smash attack. Pit will go flying.

Haha, that was me... I'm not sure why it lagged so much, my friends told me that my connection dot is green. I got an error code after you got disconnected, but it was the "Nintendo's Servers" code (860101, or something).

What is the music playing in the ruins you visit as Lucas (in the Subspace Emmisary)? It sounds veeeeeery familiar to me, but I can't figure out what it is.

No one answered this, but I figured it out anyway! The song is from Super Mario Land in the third and a few other worlds. Still, I can't seem to find it in the Sound Test anywhere. Does it need to be unlocked (if so, how?).

Pit is not even close to being as much of a noob character as Ike. You can give about 70% damage in two hits with Ike, that's stupid.

Pit is light and can get knocked off the stage easily. That's probably why they gave him an Up-B that lets him recover quickly. Well -- that, and he has wings.

...Ok just cause people are going on i want to sum this up. Ike is very powerful but thats evened by his clunkyness, by that hes not that great for linking moves (combos) like, link, fox and so on. Pit is alright but is really annoying in a noobs hands. Everyone just mashes >,B and you cant get out most of the time, also when hit hard he can easily fly back and someone said hes light and get killed easy. Thats true but on most levels, ive noticed, the size of the battle areas are HUGE compared to melee so it takes time to kill someone. so pit is a noob. ikes poweful but can be dodged, so its a case of learning when to strike.

Anyways ive only just noticed but has anyone seen a reference to mario galaxy in brawl? like music or even a stage?

Yes SMG is on the chronicle list but thats about it. It came out when Brawl was almost finished so that might be why there are no stages/songs.

Wow, missed a lot of the discussion here. Been too busy Brawlin'.
Ok. I use Pit a lot in the Subspace Emissary, simply for his recovery skills. Ike I use for standard Brawls, because of his high damage and good smashing ability. His real problem is a total lack of recovering ability when launched horizontally. His ^B is useful only when he is right under the stage.
I used Meta Knight until I realized just how weak he is. He's fun and robust, but his moves weren't strong enough for high-level CPUs.
Same deal with Sonic, but his speed makes up for it in my opinion.
As for Snake: I didn't like using him. His moves took too long to use.

okay, to recover horizontally with Ike, do a mid-air jump (1st jump), then as soon as you reach the maximum height of that jump charge his >B and release it when you reach the same level as the stage. you can do your 2nd and 3rd jumps if you need to after this, but it almost always works. and with Snake, you just have to wait for them to come to you. you have to practice with the timing for his smashes and specials, but once you get the hang of it he kicks ass. (also Snake's short hop is nice and short, so you can use air attacks near the ground... and his standard punches are okay if you get surprised.)

tales of symphonia is not an 80 hour game lol... that's an absurd amount of time... even if you do all the sidequests like abyssion (devil's arms), maxwell, alternate costumes etc it might take you 50-60 hours at most (and this being on mania difficulty)...

Yahtzee's SSBB review (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/editorials/zeropunctuation/4845-Zero-Punctuation-Super-Smash-Bros-Brawl)

i actually kind of agree with this. the game does require that an almost excessive amount of effort be put into it so that you can unlock everything, the levels are uber-repetitive (i never did finish SSE, and i don't plan to), and the camera does zoom out to much. i still enjoy playing the game with other people, but i hate the single-player.

flame shields up?

(oh, and with all of Yahtzee's reviews, it is profane. children be warned.)

I agree, SE was very tedious. But as far as multiplayer, it is designed to be fun, not serious. And when Brawl came out, it wasn't guaranteed that everyone would enjoy it. Somehow I knew Yahtzee's Brawl review would be direly negative (when is he not?). I don't know how much I agree with on this review.

You officially fail, since it's Nintendo's best game ever made.

okay, watch the review. the last thing he points out is that there are fanboys like you that defend anything Nintendo does no matter if it is good or not. it's my opinion and you saying that i fail isn't going to change that. if you think you're so important that i'll change my opinion because you disagree, you fail.
Title: Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl
Post by: Shiny Boy on April 24, 2008, 07:51:35 AM
Fanboyism is something I try to avoid, but occasionally seeps into my opinions of games. I actually think that Super Mario Galaxy is better than Brawl in that it doesn't get boring (or tedious) as quickly. Of course, Brawl is a better game than Yahtzee says it is, because most of his point is bashing games and their respective series and companies, but some of his points are rather painfully correct. That's what made his Orange Box review funny; his blatant love for Portal was unexpected and hilarious. Now, of course, he can't pull a stunt like that ever again.

P.S. who knows how to take pictures from SSBB and put them on your computer. (Don't suggest a DVD)

I was going to say that! but anyway yeah and you'll need an SD card and either a computer that supports SD cards or an SD card extension like I have where it connects to the USB and has something on the end to put the SD card

Online is horrible indeed, even with friends it's often no fun to play laggy games.

Furthermore, the game is awesome. Finished the Subspace Emissary, finished the events, unlocked all characters and I'd need to lock one more stage. And the funny part is, I'm not even half way through. =')

Brawl isnt laggy for me, i upgraded my wii and now its fine. I do have some major problems with brawl online though:

1. It takes like a god damn 10 minutes (no joke) to find at least one person.
2. Only 2 minute KO fest?! thats bull crap
3. Time KO fest is the worst. Its crap and its so unfair
4. Why is it that the matches HAVE to have 4 people playing?! some people just want it one on one, so why isnt there an option??? Also if it doesnt find all 4 its replaces them with computers.... WE DONT WANT COMPUTERS!!! If we wanted computers we would play normal brawl!
5. Sometimes it has computers and some times it doesnt. Whats the f... point???!!!
6. Why arent there names and ranks??????? I would want to be noticed when im playing. I would want someone to know that im kicking their ass and who i am. Also i want to know if ive made them turn off, but oh noes! here comes a f... computer again! I can see the point in this but i want to know if someone thinks im kicking their ass. Sorry its just im competitive like that, but you guys must know how i feel about that.
7. Did i mention that time brawl is the crapest mode in the whole game?

Sure i love brawl, its amazing. But the online is such a fricking let down. There is no reason attal for it to be so crap. No reason.

Star Fox Characters, Pit, and Snake have the cheapest Final Smashes in the game. It's actully quite easy to escape the Kirby's pot's suction if you know how.

Kirby's pot suction works in terms of the damage of the player. The higher percent of damage a player has, the more distance it covers.

Star Fox's: you try driving it.

Snake's: Use the shield dodge.

And the cheapest are: Sonic, Pikachu, Lucario, Luigi and Wario so far.

I can never hit anyone with Pikachu's smash. It moves in too big of circles. And Wario-Man, well, I've never bothered to get good with even regular Wario.
Lucario, though, I agree with. Possibly Sonic too. But you better add Luigi to the list.

Lucario's final smash is really easy to dodge. Just go to one side so they aim the beam towards you, then jump over Lucario. The beam is so slow that by the time the beam gets back to the middle of the stage it's over.

I've also killed Luigi right after he finished his weird little dance. Granted I was using Zelda and there were two explosive crates right by him. Din's Fire pwns.

I dislike Sonic and Snake's final smashes, the rest are quite easy to dodge. Though even these two are dodgeable.

Well aren't you just quite the smash-dodging ninja-thingy.
I played Brawl today for the first time in a long time. And it was lots of fun! I think my two-month binge got me a little bored, but a few hours at a time is still top-quality entertainment.

I like making soup out of other players with Kirby's final smash. It's so fun when four hammers or four smart bomb come out of he pot. You can get really good items with Kirby's final smash.

Aren't those risks? I mean, if someone manages to dodge the smash, you only get control of him about a second after the items hit the ground. Believe me, I've done it before and it's an extraordinary opening.

So now I've got every trophy except four. A few months ago, after getting around 300 trophies on the coin launcher and only getting one new one (the very first one), I decided that I had obtained every trophy from the coin launcher. I realized today that there is still one left (Samus (Dark Suit)) so I went from 9999 coins to 2700 and still did not get the trophy I needed. I must have seen every other possible trophy! I think the game hates me or something...

Why haven't I posted here yet? I love this game.

I'll just do something random.

My main is Sonic, and I raep with his final smash. I actually know how to control it, so I usually kill every player at least once when I get it.

My alternate is Toon Link, and I like to use him for his Down + B and his final smash is meh.

My alternate alternate is Olimar because I know how to kill everyone with him, I just don't like him because he is too easy to kill my sucky friends with and his final smash is boring.

My main is Kirby. But I don't use him much anymore cuz I pwn so much with him there's no challenge when I use him.

Alternate is Mr. Game and Watch. Funnest character to play as in my opinion just cuz he's so awsome.

Other Alternative is Ganondorf. Everyone hates him just cuz he's slow, but if you actually use stratagy instead of button mashing like most people do, you'll fing out just how good he is.

Yeah, I've moved on to Mario Kart Wii. I go back and forth. :P

My main is Lucas. I like him because of his PK Thunder: it can hit more than one target, making it easy to cheaply steal a smash ball. xD
Plus his final smash is cool. And I like his PK fire. I find it shoots farther than Ness's. And PK Freeze is without a doubt better than PK Flash.

My alternate is Marth. I think it's mainly because I mained him in Melee (Along with Ness, who I replaced with Lucas in Brawl). He's fast, and has quick attacks, even though his power lacks a little. I got severely nerfed since Melee.

In third is a tie between King DeDeDe, Olimar, and Pokemon Trainer (Mainly Squirtle). I just kick booty with them, so I pickthem when I get bored of Lucas and Marth. :P

This is quite random, but I SUCK at online with all of these characters. (Especially King DeDeDe) so I have a seperate list for online. I'm not going to discribe them, though. :P

1. Sheik
2. Toon Link
3. Peach or Zelda.

I don't know what it is, but the girls (and Toon Link >.>) have an advantage online somehow. :P

when i play, whenevr i choose my own player, im not as good. but when i put on random, it seems im much better. maybe because i dont know who ill be.....

but my mains are Ice Climbers, Mr. Game and Watch (really), and sometimes King Dedede. other than that, im normal-good with everyone else.  :P

and my ideas for a next SSB (one of em) if Jigglepuff, Toon Link, and Wolf are coming back they better be in adventure mode, but if not, dont bother.

Nintendo's just too lazy to pay voice actors for the game's that desperately need it (Link really needs to talk). The only ones that made the effort were Star Fox and Fire Emblem: PoR In the Japanese version of the game, there was voice acting for the entire script, not just the movies.

i wouldn't mind talking if they talk like retards... but as of now i kinda like no talking.. although if they were to make them talk i would hope it would be only in cutscenes... i would get so tired of hearing some kinda a punch line from mario every 3 min... and almost all super hero games have that... and it's soo annoying..
Title: Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl

well, in a mario game, such as Super Mario Galaxy, Mario talked quite a bit. especially at the end: "Thank you so much, for playing my game!" and luigi, too: "Mario! Mario!" or "Super Luigi Galaxy!"

Mario Kart Wii also had quite a few sayings.

but ya, i know what u mean. i can understand Link, it's not in his nature to talk. i think he shouldnt, and should just keep the games like that. but Charles Martinet does 3 voices already (Mario, Wario, and Waluigi) I was so surprised when this game came out. i was so psyched to see so many people talking so much more. or more grunts.

and i think the whole purpose of this game was just to see how the characters would react to each other. i think if one talked, such as: "Hey Pit, my name's a-Mario" while he just looks at him, wouldn't be great. Besides most of the characters don't talk anyway. i mean look at the pokemon. and characters like Kirby.
lol.....maybe a bit more of the interacting....and it will be good

I personally think that Nintendo need to stop the crap where they make the characters grunt and then have word typed on the bottom of the screen. Even low budget Sony and Microsoft games make them talk where they actually talk but super high budget games like LoZ are still doing this bullshit? It was alright in the 80's to the late 90's but cut the crap Nintendo and use the money you take your bath in a put it to use!

Personally, i believe that they are a little better that way. In all reality, i would rather not have a clue what Link's voice sounds like. Some characters, however, deserve voice-overs but some (i.e. Link) simply need to stay mute.

I think Mario needs to talk more than any other character and Samus can blurt out sayings and stuff (WEEEELLL MAbey but she's still silent!) I mean in Prime 3 the voices were pretty good (They were the ONLY good ones considering Metroid Games don't even have actuall speech let alone any dialouge!) and if they set time to mabey get bowser and some major villians to talk in the game then it would of been...bareble.  I mean Wario,Mario,Peach,Luigi,Bowser,Ike,Pit,Snake,Sonic,Fox,Falco,Wolf,Captain Falcon(VERY BIG MABEY),EXCLUDING SAMUS(She has no reason to talk what so ever :\) and Even Marth for the love of God HAVE NO EXCUSE Not to have had the voice actors to add a little more depth or more insight on the story and mabey better winning dialouge. but still what's done is done.

iDOWN: i heard that he only did Mario, Wario, and Waluigi. he said himself he couldn't do it...hmmmmm......wow, just checked on Wikipedia. he does do Luigi, Baby Mario, and Baby Luigi. also, Toadsworth...cool....

but i still believe my theory, it just wouldn't be the same with them talking so much.

I have to take back what I said about Wario-Man's invincibility when he files of stage, I tested it myself and it was faulty information.

Onto a different subject, i heard somewhere about a "Black Disc" that is super rare in game. And if you happen to get it, it gives you like 10 songs or something, has anyone besides me heard of this, or better yet, gotten it if it is true?

You dont really need some uber rare "black" disk when you can just make a CD factory stage and get all spawning CDs in like.. an hour or 2

You unlock Bob-Omb Battlefield by playing 50 hours of Brawls, not by a CD. :P

I just used a Golden Hammer. I have over 100 Hours of Brawls now, so I'd have it unlocked anyway.

Title: Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl
Post by: Nana1Popo2 on August 07, 2008, 08:14:46 AM
lol all the stages are really cool, but when i play against other somputer players i usually set it so it's always a random custom stage.
Title: Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl
Post by: kotorfanboy on August 07, 2008, 09:15:43 AM
I would rather have a lot more bigger levels in addition to all of the few platform levels for a lot of variety (but I guess that's what custom stages are for)

OMG i hate som of the custom stages my brother made- there is like noe tiny spot to stand, and then the rest of the stage are spikes...

Sometimes people I know make the cheapest stages, with way to many spikes and nowhere to go, and the best players always die first.

Title: Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl

However you still can get a fake mario trophy. :( It doesn't do anything bad to your game, it just doesn't add anything to your collection. Also, you can get Final Smash trophies, Character Trophies, and SSE Trophies ;D

However... DON'T GO ON SSE AND COLLECT AS MANY AS YOU CAN!!! The game will freeze at the results screen. :(
